Chapter 3: Again with the XANA Attacks

Beep

Dallas woke up to the sound of her phone beeping. Aelita was already awake, and Dallas looked over at her with sleep-deprived eyes. 

"What's up?" She asked.

"XANA attack. I didn't want to wake you up, you seemed like you were enjoying your sleep."

"Aelita, you probably already know this, but I've missed going to Lyoko. A ton. Gimme a minute to get dressed." 

About fifteen minutes later they were at the factory, Dallas going to the supercomputer room and Aelita going to the scanners. Dallas ran up to where Jeremy was sitting and watched the supercomputer.

"What's happening?" 

"Activated tower in the forest sector. You might want to get to the scanners, we're gonna need a distraction for XANA."

Dallas frowned, then shrugged.

"Alright then." She said, heading to the scanners, where Aelita was waiting. They both stepped in a scanner of their own.

"Transfer, Aelita. Transfer, Dallas. Scanner, Aelita. Scanner, Dallas." Jeremy said. "Virtualization."

Dallas landed on her feet. She felt...different. She looked at her hands. She had on fingerless gloves. Black ones.  She looked down at what she was wearing. She still had her black combat boots, but she was wearing completely different clothes. From what she could see, she wasn't wearing a skirt anymore- she was wearing pants with a similar color to her last outfit on Lyoko, which was kinda shimmering black, and, she still had on a crop-top with the same color, but also a vest that matched. While her green eyes were looking over her outfit, she laughed. 

"This is so cool."

"I edited your programming so your outfit would match you, since you came back." Jeremy said.

"Thanks, Jeremy..."

"Let's go find the tower." Aelita said. Dallas nodded, and followed Aelita to where the tower was.

"Guys- uh...girls, you've got two Taratulas headed your way." 

Lo and behold, what Jeremy said was true. Two Tarantulas were indeed coming their way. The monsters stood up and fired at them. Aelita and Dallas hid behind separate trees.

"Camouflage." Dallas said, as she became invisible. She ran in front of the monsters and reached behind her back for her bow and and two arrows. She aimed and shot both Tarantulas right in the center of the target on their heads, making them explode. Dallas became visible again and turned around to tell Aelita how awesome that was, when she noticed XANA in her face. A short wave of fear went through her. "Camouflage!" she said again, but before she could turn invisible, XANA had her by the throat.

"Welcome back, sister." XANA said. Aelita had just made it to the tower, though, and XANA sensed it. "Until next time." XANA let go of her and disappeared using Supersmoke. 

"Return to the past, now!" Jeremy said.
