Dallas was watching her life flash by in her mind. She saw her mom and dad, she saw William. This is it, she thought. Guys...if you do bring William back...tell him I'm sorry...and that I love him...
"Energy Field!" Dallas heard Aelita say from above. She felt the attack hit her.
Being devirtualized was the same as being virtualized. Except for the fact that you end up in a scanner rather than another dimension.
Dallas had a tight grip on the sides of the open scanner. She sighed in relief. Aelita had saved her. Thank God. Odd was right, being a Lyoko warrior did mean near-death experiences. Dallas stepped out of the scanner and went up to where Jeremy was at the supercomputer. She sat against the wall and stared at the floor wide-eyed. Jeremy looked over at her.
"Are you okay?" He asked. She looked up at him.
"Huh?"
"I said-"
"No no no, I heard what you said, but are you really asking me if I'm okay? I almost disappeared forever! How am I okay?!" She said. Jeremy held his hands up in defense before returning to what he was doing.
