Code Lyoko: The Archer Returns (Book 2)

Chapter 12: Sector Five

"Transfer, Odd. Transfer Dallas. Transfer, Yumi." Jeremy was saying. "Scanner, Odd. Scanner, Dallas. Scanner, Yumi."

  Dallas had her eyes closed (the scanners freaked her out a bit), as she felt herself being scanned.  

"Virtualization."

Being virtualized into Lyoko was a strange process, in Dallas's opinion. It was like being pulled out of existence then brought back into it, just in another dimension.  

First notice: Everything was blue. Not just one color blue, a few different shades as well.

Odd, Dallas, and Yumi waited for Ulrich and Aelita to be virtualized. Once they were, they all ran down the corridor in front of them. 

Second notice: Lots of different paths to take.

"Alright everyone, head for the Celestial Dome so Aelita can get to the interface." Jeremy said. 

"Go where so she can get to the what, now?" Dallas asked.

"The Dome. We told you about it earlier. There's an interface with a ton of information about Lyoko and Xana there." Aelita said.

"I hate to say it, guys, but you've got five Creepers on your tail." Jeremy warned them. Dallas got her bow and immediately notched an arrow, then turned around and aimed. Sure enough, five weird-looking monsters were headed their way. Dallas pulled back on the arrow then let it go. It hit one of the Creepers, causing it to explode. 

"Go straight ahead then make a right. Then make a left, then another right."

The group did so, and then they made it to the elevator. 

"On my signal, jump." Ulrich said. They waited for a minute. "Jump!"

They all managed to get onto the elevator and away from the Creepers, and successfully made it to the Celestial Dome, where Aelita immediately went over to the interface and started messing around with it.  And, right on cue, William showed up on the back of a Manta, his sights set on Dallas. A few Mantas had followed behind him. The other Mantas started attacking everyone but Dallas. William hopped off of the Manta, and approached Dallas, who was slowly backing away.

"I thought you got what you wanted..." she said nervously.

"I'm not finished with you just yet." XANA said. He knocked her out and brought her onto the Manta, and, hopping back onto the Manta himself, headed for one of the tunnels. 

"Guys, I'm not sure what XANA is up to, but we shouldn't stick around to find out. I'm bringing up your vehicles." Jeremy said.

The Overwing, Overboard, and Overbike appeared, and each warrior hopped onto their own vehicles, with Aelita riding the Overwing with Yumi. They followed the Manta that William and Dallas were on, and the warriors were also trying to fight off the Mantas that followed behind them. They went through the tunnel, which led to the desert sector. 

Dallas woke up, and looked up at William.

"You...you never fulfilled your side of the deal..." she said. "My memories in exchange for my brother..."

"I've decided to make some changes to that deal. Now that you've given up your memories, I throw you into the digital sea." XANA replied. Dallas's eyes widened. It was then that William kicked her, knocking her off of the Manta. And she was falling. Falling towards the digital sea.
