The morning after their game against West Ham, and the night at the bar, the team gathered at the training ground for their recovery session. Liv and Eva, still buzzing from their win, joined their teammates in the locker room as they prepared for the day ahead.

"Morning, everyone!" Liv greeted cheerfully as she entered the room, her eyes bright with excitement.

"Morning, Liv!" Steph called out from across the room, a grin spreading across her face. "I didn't expect you to be the loudest after last night!"

Liv grinned back at Steph, her energy infectious. "Well, you know me, Steph, always ready to bring the enthusiasm! Plus 2 cups of coffee." She winked playfully before turning to the rest of the team. "But seriously, how great was that win last night? I don't think I've stopped smiling since we stepped off the pitch!"

As they changed into their training gear, the conversation turned to the upcoming recovery session.

"I hope they've got the ice baths ready for us," Katie joked, shooting a playful glance at Liv and Eva. "I could use a bit of a freeze after yesterday's match."

Liv chuckled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "You and me both, Katie! But I have to admit, the ice baths are always the toughest part of recovery."

Steph, tying her shoelaces nearby, chimed in, "I don't mind the ice baths so much. It's the contrast showers afterward that really get me!"

"Yeah, those can be brutal," Liv agreed, nodding in solidarity. "But I guess that's all part of the process, right?"

Kim, who had been stretching quietly in the corner, joined the conversation. "I'm just grateful for a chance to relax after that match. My muscles are screaming for a break."

Eva, nodding in agreement, added, "Definitely. A bit of recovery time will do us all good."

Katie, with a mischievous glint in her eye, couldn't resist teasing, "Who knows, maybe Liv and Eva will find another reason to enjoy the ice baths, eh?"

Liv's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she shot Katie a playful glare. "Oh, come on, Katie!"

The banter continued as the team finished getting ready for their recovery session.

As they settled into the ice baths, Liv felt the chill of the water seep into her bones, but it was a welcome sensation after the intensity of yesterday's game. Kim's question brought her back to the present, and Liv couldn't help but smile as she reflected on the match.

"It was incredible, Kim," Liv admitted, her voice filled with excitement. "I mean, sure, it was nerve-wracking at times, but being out there with the team, fighting for every ball... There's just nothing like it. I missed it so much while I was pregnant and after having the girls, so it's nice to be out there more regularly now."

Kim nodded understandingly. "Absolutely. Those moments on the pitch, when everything clicks into place and you're all working towards a common goal... It's what we live for as footballers."

Liv nodded. "And having players like you to look up to, Kim, it's a dream come true for me."

Kim smiled warmly, her eyes softening with affection. "You're doing great out there, tweetypie. It's clear that you belong on this team."

After a couple of minutes watching Kyra trying and splash people as they walked by, Kim asked Liv, "How have you been settling in here? I know it has been a big change for you."

Liv looked down, feeling her cheeks flush a little. "You know, Kim, it's been quite the adjustment, moving here and all. I feel like I should have everything together by now, but I just don't."
