"And he cooked for me."
"Insane." Helen said looking at me with wide eyes.
"Are you sure there's nothing going on between you both? Are you sure you don't like him?" Nathan asked as he cuddled Raine closer to him on my bed.

Hm do I really like him?

Nah I couldn't.

That's not possible.

I can't lie I love his company though. His scent, his face when he's annoyed with me which so cute...

"Earth to Rhea." Tiana said snapping her fingers at me.
"No. I don't." I said as I laughed.
"Yeahhh...I don't believe you." Raine said squinting her eyes at me.
"I couldn't possibly like a married man, I'm not a bad person, I can't ruin his marriage."
"But you literally kissed him and possibly enjoyed it because you couldn't stop talking about it." Tiana replied.

Yeah... I did.

And I want to do it again.

"Oh my goodness! Am I a bad person?" I asked the group and they all avoided eye contact with me.
"And you got jealous when he was with his wife the other day." Raine said and I scoffed
"I just...well...it wasn't jealousy I was just curious."
"Righttt." Helen said squinting her eyes at me.
"Why are you guys like this? There would never be a connection or anything between us, he's married and my teacher and I'm his student who is heartbroken."

...And desperate.

"He cooked for you!" Helen replied.
"You guys flirted and almost did something." Tiana said.
"He literally noticed when you weren't in class, always grumpy in your absense, Nathan am I right?" Raine said
"Yeah." Nathaniel said backing her up.
"You guys stop giving me false hope and I don't think I'm ready to give my heart to anyone after Tristan."
"We always knew Tristan wasn't right."
"We?" Tiana asked raising one her brows
"You hated him!" I yelled
"Because I knew he wasn't just right."
"You guys, his sister's inviting me to her wedding on Saturday and we have girl's night and I don't want to miss it."
"See! you guys are dates for his sister's wedding." Helen suggested
"No...she just invited me."
"Yeahhh." Tiana muttered rolling her eyes
"Go! It's fine, we can always do next Saturday, right girls?" Helen asked
"Yes." Tiana said
"We're going to Italy."
"Italy, huh? Alone...without his wife and just teacher and student." Raine said making me sigh
"Seriously...guys!"
"What? We're just stating facts!" Helen yelled while Nathan chuckled and I turned to glare at him
"Not funny."
"Can we talk about how stupid Alice acts sometimes?" Helen asked
"For reals though!" Tiana exclaimed
"She has been trying to get on my nerves since she got Tristan to be her boyfriend." Tiana added
"She's doing it intentionally because she can't face Rhea."
"Coward." I muttered

He dismissed the class and I tried to stall so I could be the last person to be with him. As soon as it was just the both of us, I walked closer to his desk.

"Hi."
"Hm?"
"So...I came here to tell you that I would be coming to the wedding."
"That's good, we leave on Friday and get back on Sunday."
"Um...are we simply going as teacher and student?"
"Hmm...maybe friends."
"Maybe friends? So we weren't friends?"
"I was simply your teacher and still am."
"Rightttt...even when you flirted back?" I muttered to myself

Why did it hurt when he said friends though. Like we weren't much more than that.

I left the room quickly.

I remembered he very much hated me.

"You're not paying attention" He said lifting my chin as he looked at me worried

I was in his office for my after school tutoring, so the school was almost empty.

"It's nothing." I muttered
"Are you sure? It's obviously not nothing."
"I don't want to talk about it."
"Do you...still hate me?"
"Why that question, suddenly?" I asked combing through his messy hair.
"Just answer me."
"I never hated you, why are you acting like this?"

I raised a brow at him and he sighed.

"Fine, maybe I did hate you on the first day and all, but I don't hate you anymore even if you're so annoying."
"Why did you kiss me back?"
"It was a mistake" He said looking away
"I don't we should talk about that, let's just finish with these questions." He said

Am I liking him?

Well maybe I do find him attractive but...I don't trust him yet.

He has something with the mafia.

He's rich and working as a teacher.

He's been keeping an eye on my necklace since the first day I wore it.

He didn't look qualified enough to be a teacher at first.
