Once they arrived home Jasper and Alice made their way to the living area where Carlisle was sitting with Esme watching the news. "Before you ask, I can't give you medical details, All I can say is that she will be okay within time." Carlisle said not even looking over to them. "Did she tell you what happened?" Jasper asked. "He means did she tell the truth" Alice said sounding irritated. "She told me what she believes would have broken it" he said and sighed "Did she tell you Jasper was the one that broke it?" Rosalie said, crossing her arms "You broke her hand?" Carlisle finally looked over.

"Yes it was me, I broke Athena's hand" he said in a louder tone than usual "She's not even mad at me for that, she got upset at me for calling myself a monster, she could care less about me hurting her, didn't even bat an eye at it." He said going on a small rant as he sat down "She didn't question how you broke it so easily? Nothing? She didn't question anything?" Carlisle asked sitting up a bit more

"Only thing she was worried about was how we were getting home?" Emmett said "Why would she worry about that?" Esme joined the conversation "Because I hotwired her car and took her home with Rose" Emmett said and smiled "She has a sweet Cadi" Emmett added "She didn't question anything besides how you were getting home" Carlisle furrowed his brow

 "She is quite the opposite of Isabella" Rosalie said and scoffed thinking about all the questions Bella asks. "She tends to make jokes out of situations" Carlisle said and chuckled "She told me before I left the room that Edward should be on the Track team or play Soccer, but that he couldn't play football because he would be too mediocre." Carlise said and laughed a bit more. Jasper chuckled a bit,

"Yeah she's good at making light of a situation and she's very forgiving..." Jasper said kinda lost in thought til his phone rang and he answered "Hello?" he said "Hey, I just wanted to know if y'all made it home safe, you usually text when you get home so I got worried something happened." Athena's voice came through the phone and Jasper's usual lopsided grin appeared "Oh yes we made it home safe no need to worry ma'am" He said as he looked up to see Crlisle and Esme giving him a look and he rolled his eyes. "Oh alright, good to know, also did you uh tell your dad about how I actually broke my hand? I may have...told a little baby white lie." Athena said and laughed nervously.

"Uh yeah he knows I did it..." Jasper said in a sadder tone thinking about it. "He's not mad at you right? If he is, I'll give him a good talkin too" Athena joked and smiled as she laughed a bit. "Uh no more so he's surprised you weren't mad or upset at me about that but what I had said about myself." Jasper said and then the phone was snatched out of his hand "How come you didn't tell anyone!" Alice exclaimed 

"Hello my love, I didn't want Jasper to worry about it and it only hurt a bit." Athena said sighing "He didn't mean to do it and that's all that...oh sorry I'm getting a call I gotta go cya later, tell Jas I'll call him later." She said then hung up before she could reply. Alice furrowed her brows, "What caused you to break her hand in the first place?" Alice asked now thinking about it, Jasper didn't get that mad until recently.

"She was talking about going to a party" Jasper said "Is that it? You could alway" Rosalie started "On the Reservation" Jasper added. "Why would she go to the Reservation for a party! " Rosalie said and crossed her arms over her chest "It's a bucket list thing," Jasper said, rubbing his face "I just heard those parties are a bunch of trouble...I don't want anything bad to happen to her and I can't even do shit about it." Jasper said clenching his fist hard "I see why you broke her hand" Alice mumbled. Jasper sighed "I'm gonna head up, have a good rest of your night" He said not to anyone in particular.

"Speaking of heading up I wonder if the Professor is on, she's been off recently" Emmett said as he headed up as well, Rosalie following and Alice not too long after. "My , I've never seen them act like such...teenagers" Esme said smiling at Carlisle. "This Athena girl must really be something," Carlisle said, chuckling.
