Prologue

"Dad!"
The fighting continued as the young girl called out to one of the men.
"Argh- G-get out of here!"
One of the men slashed the others arm with a prototype hand from one of the special drones sent to the exo-planets for clean up duty.
The other stumbled back as his arm began to bleed.
"Dad please!"
The man opened the airlock and shoved the injured one inside, as he was about to close it the young girl ran and shoved him inside as well when suddenly, the doors shut. She stood there, staring through the glass on the door, watching the two men fly out into space.
"Dad..."
Her knees grew wobbly and she started to cry as she began to bang on the doors and slowly slide down onto the floor.
"I'm sorry..."
