Chapter 12: Returning the Love

You were closely watching your new body being completed.

Lelouch: "You've been in a digital world for an entire year. There will be difficulties when you upload your mind into this."

"I know, but Null can't be a digital entity. Besides, I owe Kallen a punch for disappearing."

Your consciousness is transferred into your new body and the container holding it opened up. You opened your eyes and moved your arm around.

"This'll take some getting used to, but it's good to be back."

Lelouch: "Glad to have you back."

You took your hand and Lelouch helped yourself up. You then went to go put on your school uniform just as Kallen came in, surprised by what she's seeing.

Kallen: "Welcome back to the realm of the living."

"Well, I agreed to help you make this world a better place."

Kallen walked up to you and you expected her to punch you for disappearing, but instead, she hugged you tightly, leaving yourself surprised.

Kallen: "Don't leave, ever again."

"I won't."

Lelouch: "Looks like you two have been getting along outside of fighting Britannia and that insane machine in human skin."

Kallen broke off from the hug.

Kallen: "We saw your memory, and I still can't believe she did that to Nunnally. How is she doing?"

"She's still trying to get used to having legs that move and being able to see. Although the walking is optional, so I gave her a wheelchair to sit on, and I had to help get her off of Lelouch when she refused to let go of him."

Kallen: "I was there for some. Still, I can't blame her for being like that. But you guys not being in school for a while is already going to cause you enough trouble."

Lelouch: "Sayako has been posing as me since I became Zero again, and Y/N can be a new student."
