Personality: [Unlike Shockwave who was effected with Shadow play, which caused his emotions to self delete- Backlash was able to keep his emotions, which means that he's more expressive than his original body(who basically gave up on life-). Ever since Backlash went through Empurata, he would always be too shy to speak with people, as he believes that they would find whatever he has to say as a waste of time, due to this, Backlash has developed poor communication skills..like- you could tell a joke and he'd end up standing there in silence as he tries to figure out if he should laugh or not- but then ends up laughing when it's completely silent, which would cause for him to become embarrassed. Despite normally seen as shy bot, Backlash can still be rather threatening due to him being a Decepticon, which would always surprise other bots.]

Backstory: [Backlash was a victim of Empurata..which was an old tradition where your helm(head) and servos(hands) is removed and is replaced with a faceless helm and fingerless hands, these are mostly done to criminals so people of cybertron know to shun them. What crime Backlash committed is unknown..and will forever be hidden. Backlash was ability to keep his personality, but was sadly not able to keep his memories of what he used to be before the transformation..he wasn't even able to remember the friends he used to have. One day during a raid, an Autobot named System Error would find the old helm of Backlash and would bring it back to life, but of course, it would only be just a head..Backlash doesn't know that his old head is somehow alive as he never ran into System Error during the war, but even if he did meet them, he wouldn't know that the helm that they're holding was his.]
