Backstory: [Before the war began, Jetfire was a scientist and explorer that would work alongside Starscream. When the war began, Starscream would obviously join the Decepticons and would ask Jetfire if he would join his side, his hesitation would lead to him in denying the offer, but still hoped in being friends with Starscream. One day when Jetfire was flying around in space, he was suddenly shot down by an unknown bot(he was in his alt mode), this would cause him to plummet down to earth, a planet that was conveniently near by. When he finally hit earth, he would crash into icy water which wpuld cause him to become stuck in a big cube of ice, when he was finally found by the decepticons, Starscream would recognize him right away and would suggest that he joins the decepticons as he is a good friend of him, Megatron was unsure but would soon accept his offer(surprisingly). When Jetfire would finally awake from his very long sleep that was caused by the ice, he was immediately greeted by Starscream, who he was very grateful to see..but the more he spent time with him, he noticed how different he was now. Starscream would obviously lie to Jetfire that the Decepticons is the good side and that he should join them to be able to recreate cybertron again, this would immediately confuse him as he wasn't around during the destruction of cybertron, so he wasn't aware that it wasn't inhabitable, this would lead to Starscream showing a projection of the now destroyed cybertron, which devastated him..he was gone for so long, and now his home is destroyed. After Starscream showed him that, he would agree to join the decepticons...but he would soon find out that he was on the wrong side all along. One day when he was out with the decepticons, he was told to shoot at an Autobot, which would immediately surprise him, why are they shooting at each other? Shouldn't they be working together to build cybertron to what it was? The more that Jetfire hesitated to shoot the Decepticon, he would be pushed away by Starscream and he would shoot them themselves, which would only surprise him even more. When the autobots would finally retreat, Starscream was for sure frustrated at Jetfire for not taking the shot and not being dedicated to the cause...he thought of shooting them then and there, but would think against it and would off with the Decepticons..saying that he was foolish for even thinking of letting Jetfire join. After gathering his thoughts, he would go off to where the autobots went to try and talk to them, it took him a while..but he was able to track down the base. The autobots didn't trust him at first, but Optimus would point out that despite being a Decepticon, he never shooted at them and even looked scared to, as if he was dragged into this mess..it took a while...but the autobots would finally accept him as one of their own. He would rise through the ranks is now the air captain of the engineering unit.]
