~Y/N's POV~
If only I had known how this night was going to go, I would have chosen a different way for it to have gone down...

~9AM~
My phone begins to ring and it pulls me out of yet another dream about Matt.
Why do you do this to me, phone.
I turn around in my bed, grab my phone and see that Chris is calling me.
I click answer and put the phone to my ear, "So, you have a death wish." I groan.
He chuckles.
"How can I help you?" I ask, sitting up in bed.
"Well, I thought you may want to come see for yourself." He whispers.
"What?" I ask, slipping on my slippers and standing up.
"Matt brought a girl over." He says quietly.
My heart breaks a little.
"Woopdie doo?" I reply, sarcastically.
He sighs as I walk out of my bedroom and into my kitchen.
"I know you have a crush on him, I just thought you'd want to know." He says, quietly.
I groan, "And you're not wrong, but I'm too shy to tell him so if he wants to date someone, I shouldn't stop him." I say as I grab a RedBull from my fridge.
I sit down at my island and he sighs, "We're going to a party tonight, you should come."
I roll my eyes, put my phone on speaker and set it down.
"My bed is better though." I pout.
"Please?" He pleads.
Laying my head back, I stare at the ceiling and start to think.
"Fine. But only because you said please. When is it?" I sigh.
"Yay! The party starts at 6 but we weren't going to be there until like 7." He chuckles.
"Okay, I'm driving myself though, I do not want Matt to be responsible if I want to leave early." I say, sternly.
"Ugh, fine. I'll text you the address." He groans.
The call ends and I look at my phone.
What did I just agree to?
I sip on my Redbull and scroll through TikTok to see a bunch of Sturniolo triplets edits so I decide to close my phone and stare out my window.
"What's got you zoning out?" My roommate, Tatiana asks.
"Matt is seeing someone." I blurt.
"Oh, I'm sorry." She sighs and sits at the island with me.
I shrug slightly and continue to zone out.
"Chris asked me to go to a party tonight too and I agreed." I sigh.
"Well, we should make sure you let Matt know what he's missing out on." She giggles.
I smile and remember I bought a dress that he has yet to see.

~10AM~
My phone starts to ring so I stop my show and look down to see Matt is calling me.
Strange.
I answer the phone and put it on speaker.
"Hey Matt, what's up?" I say, casually.
"Hey, I know Chris called you earlier about the party. I just wanted to ask why you didn't want me to pick you up?" He asks, his voice coated in pain.
"Oh, I just didn't want to be a bother in case I wanted to leave early. You know me, I'm not a big partier." I say, softly.
"I don't mind driving you. It'll save you on gas if I drive as well. Please?" He says almost pleadingly.
"Okay." I say in defeat.
"The car is going to be full, is that okay?" He asks.
Play dumb.
"Full how?" I ask.
He clears his throat.
"I'm bringing someone." He says quietly.
"Oh okay, yeah that's no problem." I reply casually.
"Cool, well, we'll come get you at like 6:45." He says.
"Sounds good, see you later." I reply.
The call ends and I let out an aggravated breath.
"What was that about?" Tatiana asks.
"Matt practically begged me to have him drive me to the party." I sigh.
"And you said yes." She says.
I nod my head.
"Girl, my thoughts and prayers are with you." She jokes.
I roll my eyes smiling and look back at the TV.
