POV: G Callen

*knocks on the door, stepping back*

Damon: *opens the door tilting head slightly* Oh would you look who arrived and no longer bound by a doorway

Elena: Damon, leave him alone... Come on in

Damon: *doesn't move from the doorway*

*moves around him, nudging past him*

Caroline: *looks up from sitting on the couch with Stefan* Who is that

Stefan: I have no idea...

Elena: Yeah it's just up the stairs, second door *watches Callen walk off*

*walks over to the door Elena mentioned and gives it a gentle knock*

Katherine: Go away

*pokes head into doorway looking over at her* I came all this way and that's the welcome I get

Katherine: *eyes widen slightly covering self with duvet*

*walks into the room, shutting the door behind self* Also not the welcome I expected

Katherine: What are you doing here, why are you here?!

*walks over and sits on the side of the bed next to her* How about we move the duvet from your head...

Katherine: No, I'm good. We can talk like this, I like this

Elena came to see me in LA... She told me what happened, with the cure

Katherine: I'm going to kill her

Gorgeous, come on. Move the covers

Katherine: I look horrible, I'm fine like this

You're human, I can take you now *removes cover from her head* Still gorgeous

Katherine: Don't lie to me *flattens hair down and sits up* ... You shouldn't have come

How could I not... *moves hair behind her ear* If I heard that you died and didn't tell me that I could see you beforehand. I would've brought you back, killed you myself

Katherine: *can't help but smile* You're full of it, you wouldn't kill me

No you're right, would've done something else instead

Katherine: *grins at him shaking head* You're an idiot

You love it *takes her hand in own, stroking thumb across her knuckles* So, what have I missed

Katherine: Well, I took the cure hoping to end this running and live a relatively normal life. The daughter I had taken from me before I turned happens to be alive and a vampire who found me-

She's alive?

Katherine: Very much so... *looks at him* I'd like you to meet her, at some point

Meeting the kids *grins slightly*

Katherine: *rolls eyes at him* As I was saying... I took the cure, I turned human then I got very sick and now aging at a very high pace in which I will soon die

So melodramatic *links fingers with hers* How long?

Katherine: I'm not sure *leans head on his shoulder* But it's fine, at least I'll be dying at my own hand

*kisses her head* Let me take you out, one last time

Katherine: Callen-

One last time, for old times sake...*turns head to her*
