Jake's pov:
Today, I didn't feel like doing anything. Since I'm in therapy for trauma related things and BPD(headcanon, partially), I have not had many days like these. It's 3 pm, and all I want to do is cry.
I have been dating my boyfriend Aiden for 8 months. He is at work and will be back in half an hour, but still.
I haven't eaten yet or even gotten out of bed. simply because I'm too tired and not even that hungry.
The door opens. Aiden is home. "Babe, I'm home. I brought you a snack."
I text him I'm still in bed, and he immediately walks upstairs. "Is everything okay, dear? have you eaten yet?" I shake my head. "I haven't. I feel like shit today." I say.
"Hey, it's all good. I brought you some m&m's and doritos, your favorites." He says.
"Thank you." I hug him. Not long after, I started crying.
"Hey, it's okay, dear. I'm here, okay?" He kisses me. God, I love him so much.
"I'm so sorry." I say. "For what?" He asks. "For looking like this. And for just randomly crying once you got home." I say.
"Hey, it's okay." He kisses me. "I'm so proud of you."
"Can I show you something?" He asks.
"Uh, sure." I say.
He shows me an app, tracking something. "So I used to self harm highschool. I've been clean for over 4 years now, but I felt like sharing it." He says, rolling up his sleves. "You can barely see them anymore, but here."
I look at him and smile. "I mean. I've been free from self-harm for almost a year now, thanks to you partially." I say.
He hugs me. "I'm so proud of you, darling." He says. I kiss him. "I love you. I think I'm ready to get out of bed now." I say.
"That's good." He leaves the room. I put on some actual clothes.
After a while, I get downstairs.
"I got you a sandwich, your favorite. After all, you haven't eaten anything today." He says. I nod. "Thank you, darling." I say.
I finish eating my sandwich. Our cats came up to me, asking for pets.
"Hey, Raven." I pet her. She purrs. "Oh, you're so cute." I say in a baby voice.
She sits on my lap. "Uhm, Aiden?"
"Yeah, darling?" He walks up to me. "Oh my God, awee." He says. He takes a picture.
"Hello, Raven." Aiden says, kissing her head. "Hey, where is my kiss?" I ask. He then kisses me, long and passionate.
I pick up Raven and place her down. I then walk to the couch and sit down. Aiden gets on top of me and kisses me.
"Now I get some alone time with you." He kisses me.
"Sounds like you're in love with me." I say.
"Because I am." He says, kissing me again.
"Well, I'm in love with you too." I say. We share another kiss.
He yawns. "Why don't you get some rest, darling?"
"Mhm, okay. Are you sure you don't need any more comfort?" He asks. "Darling, you being here is comforting enough. Now go take a nap." I say. "Okay, I'm gonna sleep then." He says.
Not long after, Aiden falls asleep. I hug him tight. "I love you, Aiden." I say.
