Chapter 16

It has been a few days since that kiss. I'm still thinking about it.

Sunghoon had to go to America for something, but we got to hang out before he left. He also said that he'll be back in a week or two.

I was in bed, laying flat on my stomach and looking at my phone on my nightstand. I was bored and I had nothing to do whatsoever.

That is until Jungwon texted me.

I picked up my phone tiredly and clicked on his notification.

Jungwon

Jungwon: Hey! I want you to meet someone.

Sunoo: Hm, why?

Jungwon: Because Sunghoon is gone for a while.

Sunoo: Send Ni-ki

Jungwon: No, I already tried.

Sunoo: I'm not even gonna ask what happened.

Jungwon: Good.

Jungwon: So you gonna meet up?

Sunoo: No. I'm tired.

Jungwon: Come on please?

Jungwon: This once.

Sunoo: Fine.

Jungwon: Yay! Okay, meet me at this address at 5:30 pm.

I sigh as I place my phone down on the nightstand again, plugging my phone into the charger. I quickly check the time to see if I have time to rest.

1:27 PM

Oh good, I have time to rest before meeting some guy who's apparently better than Sunghoon.

Ever since I came out to Jungwon in high school, he's been setting me up with people. It's been about 2 years of meeting random people and so far, Sunghoon's better than all of them.

I wish that he could just magically appear right in front of me and hug me.

I start to shift around in my bed, finding a comfortable position to sleep in. All my thoughts are just Sunghoon, like "I miss Sunghoon." or "When is he coming back?" I just want him to be with me right now.

Ding!

I turn around in my bed and I pick up my phone, adjusting my eyes to my phone's light. When I checked the notification, my eyes widened as I read the name. "Park Sunghoon" He finally texted me!

I quickly opened the notification and I started reading what he had to say.

Sunghoon

Sunghoon: Hey Sunoo!

Sunoo: Hey Sunghoon!

Sunghoon: I miss you

Sunoo: I do too :(

Sunghoon: I'll be back by next week. You don't have to worry about anything.

Sunoo: Oh alright, that's great to hear!

Sunghoon: Yeah, I hope you're doing well.

Sunoo: Me too. I hope you're enjoying America! Is it fun?

Sunghoon: It's very fun, I just wish I could've brought you.

Sunoo: It's okay Sunghoon, I just hope you're safe.

Sunghoon: Me too.

Sunoo: I have to go, I'll see you later?

Sunghoon: Oh, yeah. Bye Sunoo.

Sunoo: Bye!

I rest my phone on my stomach as I stare at the ceiling. Not much later, I roll over and scream into my pillow. I don't want to meet anyone new, Sunghoon is already perfect. Yet, Jungwon is still setting me up with others when he can CLEARLY see that Sunghoon is perfect for me.

I slowly get up and get ready for another boring blind date.
