"Dorinda one night, Damon was upset with Denise.. then" Jacky cried "he was upset with me.. he was a bit drunk and said he needed you"

Dorinda chuckled before she spoke "so you let him? you couldn't do shit? that man has that much power over you?" Dorinda started to get loud

"Dorinda I didn't expect it to be an on going thing" She shook her head

"I was a child!" Dorinda slammed her hand on the bench "I was a child Jacky, I don't care if it was suppose to be once! it shouldn't had happened at all "

"Jacky you led this man to where me and Karen were! and he did it again! you are sick" Dorinda yelled

Dorinda started pacing back & forth "then not only that! you made me look like I was crazy and a Liar"

"Dorinda you know how he is! he'll kill you regardless" Jacky yelled back

"I don't have time for this bullshit, this why I can't talk to you" Dorinda laughed "we just don't connect Jacky, you too fucking stupid to have a conversation with me"

Dorinda walked back to her car as Jacky cried, she gave her a quick glance and drove off.

Dorinda looked at her phone as it rung, she quickly picked it up and held it between her ear & shoulder.

"Hello?" she answered with a slight attitude "Auntie? it's Ki, I really need to talk to you" Kierra sniffled

"Hey Ki what's wrong?" Dorinda fixed her tone.

"Auntie I..I haven't been feeling good lately and my friend told me to take a test" Kierra began crying

Dorinda sighed and took a deep breath before speaking "Kierra you said y'all used protection"

"We did, I don't know how this happened Auntie" She continued to cry

"Alright Ki stop crying, I'll deal with it.. don't tell Karen" Dorinda warned

Dorinda hung up and went inside the house seeing Rashun on the couch playing the game.

"aye bitch!" Rashun yelled at the game, he got quiet after he seen Dorinda enter

She rolled her eyes and walked over to the kitchen grabbing a few things out the fridge to cook.

"you really mad at me?" Dorinda turned around to see Rashun standing behind her.

"you thought I was joking? Rashun you were wrong" Dorinda scrunched her face up.

"Doe you know I meant nothing but good by that, after the shit he just did to you? he deserves everything done to him" Rashun sat on the counter

"I just don't need no one giving me no favors, I told you I don't like it. Damon will get what he deserves" Dorinda shook her head.

"Dorinda, all these years he's still around.. ain't shi happened yet yo, you think imma keep letting him hurt u?" Rashun smacked his lips

Dorinda stood over the stove quietly, Rashun jumped off the counter and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"I'm not these other niggas, I'm not gone sit here and let you get hurt.. if we together i'm always gone be there"

Dorinda still stood there quietly taking everything in, She didn't know how to accept the fact Rashun was a really good man.

He kissed the bottom of her lips making her break a smile "that's all I wanna see, you smile" he chuckled

she kissed him once more before his hands traveled under her shirt.

he untied her bra and continued kissing her, Dorinda heard a few knocks and sighed

Rashun rolled his eyes "I was finna get sum" he mumbled

Dorinda walked over to the door and Karen walked in "what is this? what is this Dorinda? why am I finding this in Kierra's bathroom?"

Karen sat a pregnancy test on the counter "Yo Ki pregnant?" Rashun chuckled covering his mouth.

Dorinda and Karen gave him a side eye "Imma go clean the bedroom up" he held his head down and ran upstairs

"Dorinda i'm so confused" Karen threw her hand on her hip "Well Karen it ain't mines, maybe it's just one of her friends or something" Dorinda lied

"See see see this is exactly why I didn't want her out here having sex!" Karen sat down on the couch

"Karen she told me she had sex protected" Dorinda poured Karen some water.

"Dorinda Kierra has never had a test laying around! now this pops up after she has sex? I wasn't born yesterday" Dorinda handed her the cup of water

She took a sip "If she's pregnant Dorinda I don't know what I'd do" Karen shook her head.

Dorinda sat there quietly not knowing what to say, she didn't know whether to just tell Karen or still lie.

"I would hope she's not, Karen don't worry Kierra is way more responsible than that"

Karen eyed Dorinda "you seem a lil off D" Dorinda grabbed her hair and twisted it around her finger "well if you must know, I was about to have some makeup sex with Rashun"

Karen hit Dorinda's arm "get outta here! y'all finally being mature adults and talking it out?" Karen chuckled

Dorinda rolled her eyes "yeah until you walked in with a pregnancy test"

Karen laughed "well I'm sorry, but you know I don't have nobody to tell this to. Momma don't listen & Jacky crazy"

"Speaking of Jacky, how did the talk go?" Karen cleared her throat

"I'm done having conversations with Jacky, the bitch is just not my cup of tea" Dorinda shrugged

"Dorinda but the whole point is us trying to work towards getting our family together" Karen sighed

"Oh well, it just won't get back together until Jacky is in a physic ward"

Karen held her laugh back "D seriously, with everything going on we need to be able to come together at times like this"

"I'm not gonna keep trying to fix things with Jacky, she's too old to not comprehend shit" Dorinda grabbed the pillow adjusting it

"What about mama?" Karen turned her head

"mama is mama, she always gonna be that way whether we like it or not. no therapy can fix that"

Their conversation was interrupted by Dorinda's phone ringing

"Hold up Karen..Hello?" Dorinda answered "Hey Dorinda, it's Dr Loveland.. I would love for you to come in tomorrow. maybe talk about a few things?"

Dorinda sighed as she looked at Karen "Dr Loveland" she mouthed to Karen

"uh.. yeah I'll come in tomorrow, what time should I be there"

"About 10 am is good for me" Dorinda chuckled hearing the excitement in Dr Loveland's voice

"Alright, I'll be there"
