It's monday. I haven't heared from Y/n the whole weekend. Not like I care but still. She could've atleast text me. When I walk into class I see her sitting at her table so I sat next to her. "Got your texts...Thanks for 'not caring'..." she says. "Y/l/n..I didn't mean it like that." I say accidently touching her wrist at which she whimpers in pain. "Are you okay??" I ask, noticing how my tone changes to worry even though I don't even know why. "I'm fine." She says coldly. "You sure? Can I just see?" I ask her. "No." She imidiatly says. Even tho her sleeve covered her whole arm I could see a bandaif around her wrist.
"What's with the bandaid?" I ask. "Some stupid accidently." She responds. "Okay...why'd you go home last friday?" I ask. "You're full of questions aren't you." She asks. "Just beyond curious." I say playfully at which she rolls her eyes but I swear I could see her fighting a smile. I just chuckle at that when Stone walks in. "Yooo lovebirds. All smiley today." He says at that Y/n's smile fades. "Okay I take that back. Sorry grumpy." "Don't call me that." She says. "What? It's cute. You're grumpy x sunshine. I love that trope." Stone says. "Okay that is pretty cute." I admit at which Y/n nudges me. I chuckle to myself. "So cute." Stone says and then walks to his seat.
I just stare at Y/n whose writing things in her notebook. I couldn't look away for some reason. "I can feel you staring Barton." You say coldly, not looking up at me. "What's that?" I just ask. "Study Notebook. To write notes and study." She answers in a cold tone. "Mhm.." I just say. 'Interesting...' I think to myself. But that tought quickly fades away when Aleegra walks in. Now I'm not looking at Y/n anymore but her. The thing is I could feel Y/n's gaze on me...
"You got uhm...You got a thing for Aleegra...?" She asks quietly. "Mhm?" I ask, looking back at her. "Why would I tell you that?" I ask. "Well you might hate me but as your 'girlfriend' I should know right?" She says, refering to what I texted her. I groan. "Fine. Yes. I do. Happy now?" She smiled but something told me she wasn't happy. "I'll put in a good word for you.." she said. "Wait really?" I ask. But then, the teacher walked in and the lesson started.
A few minutes later I just got really curious. "If she thinks we're dating she wouldn't fall for me right? She would break 'girl code'." I wishper to Y/n. "I'll tell her what I told Ari." She wishoers back. "Okay..." I say quietly. After a while I speak again. "You think she likes me?" I ask. "I don't know. Shut up." She wishoers back to ma with gritted teeth. "Mr.Barton, Mrs.Y/l/n. Anything you'd like to share?" Mrs.Miller asks us. I just shake my head no.
A little later I wishpered again. "What if she doesn't like me like that?" I ask. "Dude--" Y/n wishpers irritated. "Okay. Malachi, Y/n. That's enough. Go to the hallways. Now." Mrs.Miller said in an annoyed tone.

"Okay, she seems mad." I say walking out of class. "You think?" Y/n asks in a sarcastic tone, leaning against the wall. "Okay, I'm sorry. I'm just nervous or whatever. I really like her." "I get that but that doesn't mean you have to bother me with it." "Sorry. It's just. She's so amazing and pretty and kind, funny, she--" "Could we stop talking about Aleegra for one second! ....Please..." Y/n snaps but her tone becoles softer at the end. I just stay silent for a bit. "I'm sorry. I just--I guess this whole situation is a little bit confusing and overwhelming but...Have you never liked or loved a boy...?" I ask her in a soft tone while walking closer and closer to her. I don't know why, it just felt right.
She just stares into my eyes and I couldn't help but stage back. She made me question my feelings about Aleegra. Before this could go any further the schoolbell rings. "I uh-- I gotta go. Ariana has and I have class together this time and I told her I would be waiting for her." Y/n explains. "Uh yeah..yeah..sure. I'll see you later." She just nods and quickly walks away.

Later at lunch I was sitting with Y/n and while she was busy with her own things I decided to take a look at her notes. Not because I need help or something...but. it couldn't hurt right. I open her book to see it wasn't her notebook but her sketchbook. 'Wow....This is beautiful....I didn't know she could do this...She's.i..so talend...so beau-- shut up!' "You drew all this..?" I ask her, making her look up. "Yes but you shouldn't be looking at those." She says trying to grab her notebook back. I pull my hand away before she can grab it. "It's beautiful. You should draw me sometime." I say with a wide smile. "Mhm..how about no..." She says with a fake smile. "Come on...please." "We'll see." She says trying to grab her book again and me pulling it away again, making her hands to end up on my shoulders and our faces to be only inches away from each other.
We just sit there in silence. My hands automatically went around her waist. I couldn't help but stare into her eyes. 'She is so beautiful...No Malachi shut up. You shouldn't be thinking that...God she's so close...' "Draw me..." I wishper in a soft tone moving my face a little closer to hers. "Mhm...yeah...okay..." she says quietly. Then we get interrupted by Y/n's phone. "Oh uhm..." she says as we oull away. I clear my troath. "I uh. Ari texted me. I gotta go." She says. "Yeah, yeah sure." I say akwardly. She grabs her stuff and walks away. 'What the heck just happend??' Then I see her actual notebook on the table.
'Taking a look wouldn't hurt right? I mean it's not like I'll learn something from her but...' I start looking trough her notes and yeah okay she's smart. I mean I knew that but wow. "I forgot my--Aha! Whaha!" Y/n exclaims from behind me. "No no no no no." I quickly say. "You were reading my study notebook. Wait. That's why you were looking at my sketchbook earlier cause you tought it was my study notebook." She says with a that dumb smile of hers. "Well... You have to many books." "Abd you love looking at them. Because you need help from me." She says teasingly. "God I'm never gonna hear the and of this am I?" "Never. Never ever never ever." "Okay you can stop now." I say. "Nah ah never." She says walking away. Then I get a text on my phone.
