If i had a part in Station 19

Covid

Season starts end of may.
Scene 1.
Andy wakes up coughing. She gets up. Walks in the kitchen.
She gets herself a glas of water and sees the covid tests. coughing.
She does one.
Kathy gets up: Good morning. Oh why are you testing ?

Andy: I transported a covid patient the other day and now I have a cough and a sore throat.

Kathy : Ugh!

Andy: You should test, too. You were on the rig with me.

Kathy: Pass the test.

Kathy takes it. Andy times. Timer goes off

Andy: Positive

Kathy : Yep me,too.

Andy: I'm gonna call the station.

Kathy: I'll make tea and,then go back to bed. I'm really tired, but anyone would be after last shift.

Andy nods.

Scene2

Kathy runs to the bathroom

She throws up.

Andy hears her: Kathy are you okay?

Kathy: I think so.I... (throws up again)

Andy pattes nur back and holds her hair.

Andy: You are burning.

Kathy: I think I'm done.

Andy: Lets take your temp.

Andy gets the Infrared-thermometer. Measures.

Andy: 102,2.

Kathy: Yeah that fits. I feel really sore and achy. How about you?

Andy : 99,5. No Fever

Kathy: Good. I'd better go back to bed.

Andy: I'll bring you a glass of water, some tylonol and a bucket. Just in case.

Kathy: Thanks

Scene 3

Evening. Andy is coughing

Kathy: ,That doesn't sound good.

Andy: ,Hey, How are you doing?

Kathy: I feel a little less achy. But I now have a sore throat. And i am still nauseus

Andy: A welcome to the club. Do you want tea or a popsicle ?

Kathy: What?

Andy: When have a sore throat, I can only tolerate hot stuff, but Maya for example Could only do really cold stuff.

Kathy: Hot I think. Though my stomach is really upset still.

Andy: We have to keep hydrated.

Kathy: Yeah. I know. Thank you. (Takes the cup) Maya just texted she left some of Carinas chicken noodle soup on the doorstep.

Andy: Really? That sound nice.

Kathy: I don't really have much of an appetite.

Andy gets the soup and they eat. Kathy doesn't eat much.

Scene 4
Night.

Kathy is throwing up in the bathroom. She is done, but so exhausted she simply lies down infront of the toilet.
Andy gets up to pee.

She sees Kathy

Andy: Kathy? Hey Kathy.

Kathy wakes up.

Andy: Hey? What happend?

Kathy: I threw up the Soup. Then I felt so tired, I just fell asleep.

Andy: Oh god. Ithought you had collapsed. How are you feeling?
