Lisa stood outside of the door, she held onto the envelope in her hands tightly. She took a deep breath before opening the door to her study. When she entered she found Jennie sitting in her desk going over a few papers, must have been Mr. Kim's will.

Lisa cleared her throat, "Can we talk?"

Jennie looked up at Lisa and nodded.

Lisa walked over to Jennie and placed the envelope in front of her. Jennie stared at the envelope slightly confused, but took it in her hands and opened it. She pulled two Airline tickets to New York…one had Mrs. Kim's name and the other had Jennie's.

"Diana gave them to me not too long ago," Lisa said, "I didn't realize you would have a ticket to New York."

Jennie cleared her throat, "I ask Diana to get me a ticket too."

"Why?"

Jennie looked up to Lisa, "I think it would be best right now if I went to New York for a couple weeks with my mom… I need to do some thinking."

"Think about what?" Lisa asked.

Jennie said nothing, instead she continued to go through the paper work.

"Think about us?" Lisa frowned.

"I just need time," Jennis explained.

"Time for what?" Lisa exclaimed, "I thought we were fine."

"We're not fine Lisa" Jennie said finally looking up at her.

"I don't understand," Lisa said, "What's the problem?"

"My dad just died," Jennie said.

There was silence, Lisa didn't have anything to say about that. She couldn't because through this past week she couldn't help but feel guilty, she should have forced Mr. Kim to take the medication.

"I don't understand," Lisa said.

"These past few days, I've been really thinking about us, you know," Jennie said, her voice cracked slightly, "And I came to realize that if I stay with you, I'm going to end up resenting you."

Lisa's heart clenched.

"And I know it was his choice, I know," Jennie said softly as tears formed up in her eyes, "But you promised, you made a deal with me Lisa…and now he's dead."

"I tried Jennie" Lisa began, "I promise you I tried."

"I know you did," Jennie cried, she finally let the tears out, "And yet I still feel resentment toward you."

Now those words made Lisa tear up.

"I have done so many things wrong in my life," Lisa began as she went around the desk and kneeled down and took a hold of Jennie's hands, "I know that, even the way I got you to marry me was wrong… but if I let you go, that will be the worst thing I could possibly do. Please don't go Jennie."

"I have to go," Jennie sighed sadly.

Lisa frowned, "Were you planning of packing your bags and leaving me behind? Leaving Leo behind!?"
