Chapter 5:His Sister's Keeper

After the rockets had been fired everyone went to sleep. There was no way of telling if they could see them or not so we could only hope.

I'm sitting by the fire when I see Bellamy running around looking in every tent he passes. I walk over to him to see what he's doing.

"Um?" I question him "what exactly is happening here?"

"I can't find Octavia" he says worried

"What?" I say confused

"I haven't seen her since we got in a fight in the woods, I thought she came back to camp but I can't find her and..." he says rambling

"Calm down, I'll help look for her. You check the rest of the tents and I'll look the drop ship." I say, he nods and I jog over to the drop ship.

"Have you seen Octavia?" I ask to the few kids sitting in the ship

They all shake their heads

"Shit" I mutter running back outside to find Bellamy.

"Nobody's seen her" he says worried

"It's okay, we'll find her. We need to get a search party ready" I tell him

He nods and starts gathering a group of kids to get ready to go looking.

"Someone find Finn, we need a tracker" Bellamy shouts

"I'll get him" Clarke reluctantly says going towards his tent.

"Whoa a meteor shower" Fox calls pointing at the sky

I look up to see what looks to be a meteor shower but I know better.

"It's not a meteor shower they're bodies... they didn't see the flares" I say sadly

"What?" Someone asks confused

"It's a funeral they're returning the bodies to the earth. This is what it looks like from the other side" Clarke says with Raven and Finn following behind her.

"This is your fault" Raven spits at Bellamy

"He knows and now he has to live with it" Clarke says calming raven down

"Whatever, we need to leave now" Bellamy says scoffing

"I'm going to stay and work on the radio; I need to find some spare parts somewhere." Raven says

"I may know where some are" Clarke says gesturing for raven to follow her

Raven leans in and cups Finns face, kissing him. "I love you" she says

"I love you" he replies hesitantly before she takes off with Clarke.

"You coming?" Bellamy calls to me

I nod and join the group heading out into the dark woods with only a few torches to light the way.

We walk through the woods for a while, blindly following Bellamy hoping he won't get us lost.

"I see something" one of the boys at the front of the group calls out, pointing down a small hill.

Someone holds a torch out illuminating the area.

We see a thin grey sweater at the bottom of the hill.

"That's mine, Octavia must have been wearing it" I say when I see the familiar item

"Let's go" Bellamy says gesturing me to follow him down the hill

The rest of the group follows slowly behind us.
