Chapter 11: We are grounders

After we got Myles to camp a few guys took him to the drop ship and made him comfortable until we could figure out what to do.

I was helping Raven put mines around the outside of the walls so if the grounders came it would hold them off.

"When are we going back out to look for Clarke, Finn and Monty?" I ask Bellamy who was supervising

"Were not, nobody leaves camp" he tells me

"Why?" I ask annoyed

"We need all hands on deck in case the grounders show up" he says

A gun shot goes off

"What the hell was that?" Bellamy says walking over to sterling who fired the shot

"Sorry I fell asleep" Sterling says

"We need every bullet for grounders we can't have people screwing up and wasting them" Bellamy shouts at sterling

"Bell you're scaring people" Octavia says to her brother

"They should be scared the grounders are out there waiting to attack, everyone back to work" he yells at the crowd who was watching him yell at sterling

Bellamy takes off into the drop ship.

"Jasper can you grab some more gun powder?" Raven asks Jaspers

He nods and goes into the drop ship to get it.

"So how many of these do you think we can make?" I ask Raven

"We have enough gun powder to mine most of this side" she tells me

I see Bellamy exit the drop ship and then the door of the ship shuts shortly after. Raven, Octavia and I go rushing over to it.

"What's going on in there?" I ask Bellamy

"Murphy's got a gun" Bellamy spits

"Wait Jaspers in there" I say panicked

"Don't worry. I'm going to get him out" Bellamy assures me

"Murphy it's not jasper you want to hurt it's me, How about I come in there and you send him out" Bellamy says into the walkie talkie

"Bellamy are you crazy, No" Octavia says to him

"Alright Bellamy you come in and I'll let Jasper here live but if anyone tries to pull something when I open the door I'll kill him" Murphy responds

"Bellamy if you do this he'll kill you" Octavia pleads

"If I don't, He'll kill Jasper" he tells her

The drop ship door opens and Bellamy starts to walk up. He disappears under the curtain and Jasper appears. As soon as he steps off the ramp the door shuts again.

"Raven you think you can get the door open?" I ask her

"There's a loose panel on the side of the ship. I'll crawl in there and see if there's something I can do" She says before leaving

We hear a shot being fire in the drop ship.

"You alright Bellamy?" Octavia says into the walkie

"I'm fine" he replies calmly

I hear a girls scream and then a few more shots are fired from inside.

Suddenly the drop ship door opens.

We run in to see Murphy climbing the ladder to go to the second level and Bellamy hanging from the ceiling by a seatbelt which was wrapped around his neck.

Octavia cuts him down and removes the seatbelt from his neck.

He takes a sharp gasp of air and stands up immediately climbing the ladder and banging on the door, Murphy must have blocked it.

"Murphy open the door" Bellamy shouts

There's a loud explosion and Bellamy shoves the door open.

A few of us climb up there to see that Murphy had used our remaining gun powder to blow a hole in the side of the drop ship and took off into the forest.

"Should we go after him?" Jasper asks Bellamy

"No, the grounders will take care of him" He tells him

"There movement on the outside of the wall" Someone says through the walkie

We all take off down the ladder and outside.

"It's Clarke and Finn" Someone calls

The gate opens and we see our friends run in

"Where's Monty?" I ask

"Monty's missing?" Clarke asks me

"It's time to pack we need to leave" Finn says interrupting

"Where would we go that's safer than behind the walls of the camp?" Bellamy asks

"There's a tribe to the east,Lincoln told us about. They can help us and keep us safe from the grounders" Finn explains

"You expect us to trust a Grounder? This is our home now. We built this from nothing with our bare hands! Our dead are buried behind that wall in this ground! Our ground! The Grounders think they can take that away. They think that because we came from the sky, we don't belong here. But they've yet to realize one very important fact: We are on the ground now, and that means we are Grounders!" Bellamy shouts to the crowd getting many cheers

"Bellamys right,If we leave, we may never find a place as safe as this. And God knows, in this world, we could be faced with something worse tomorrow. But that doesn't change the simple fact that if we stay here, we will die, tonight. So pack your things, just take what you can carry. Now!" Clarke shouts causing us all to scatter

I turn around to head back to my tent when I see raven limping through the gates.

"Raven" I yell before she collapses

Finn and I go running over and help her up.

I see she's bleeding from her stomach.

"what happened?" Finn asks

"Murphy" She croaks out

"He shot her" I say when I realize what must have happened

"Get her into the drop ship" Clarke says to us

Finn lifts her up and Runs her into the ship.

"Someone make a stretcher" Clarke says to a group of people who are standing around.

I feel a hand grasp mine

"You ready to go?" Octavia asks me

"Ready as I'll ever be" I say sighing

A/N:Sorry not much Octavia and Katherine moments going on in this chapter and there may not be many in the next but when the wars over there will be lots!
