Chapter 6: Part 1

Bellamy was right a storm was coming.

Those black clouds quickly turned into a wind storm and then it started to pour rain.

We had gathered everyone into the drop ship and sent them up to the second level so Clarke would have space to work on Finn.

"Raven is the radio working yet?" Clarke says desperately

She needs to talk to her mother to find out what do with Finn.

"The storm is interfering with the signal" Raven says fiddling with the device she had made.

"This is Raven Reyes calling from the ground" Raven says into the radio "I repeat this is raven reyes I am on the ground with the 100 we need your help"

"Hold on Raven we're trying to boost your signal" A voice responds

I let out a sigh of relief.

"I need doctor Abby griffin" Raven tells them

"Raven are you there?" I hear Abby say through the radio

"Mom, Mom it's me" Clarke says into the radio

"Clarke" Abby says relieved her daughter is alive

"We need your help, one of our people was stabbed by a grounder" Clarke tells her mom

"Clarke this is the chancellor, are you saying there are survivors on the ground?" Jaha asks through the radio

"Yes the earth is survivable, were not alone" Clarke tells him

When we don't hear a reply Clarke starts to speak again "Mom he's' dying the knife is still in his chest"

"Is my son with you?" Jaha asks Clarke

"I'm...I'm so sorry Wells is dead" Clarke says to him

"Okay Clarke I'm going to walk you through this step by step" Abby says, the radio starts to get fuzzier by the second we can barely hear what she's saying

"Here take this" Octavia says handing Clarke a metal cylinder. "Its Monty's moonshine, no germ can survive it" she explains

The whole drop ship shakes

"We need to shut the doors, I'm losing connection" Raven says

"Monroe shut the doors" Clarke says

"We still have people out there" Monroe says

"Monty and Jasper still aren't back" I say looking around and realizing they've gone missing

"Neither is my brother" Octavia says

"They'll find some place to ride It out" Clarke assures us

"Here" Raven says handing Clarke a small needle

"Thanks, I still need something to close the wound" Clarke says taking it from her

"There are some wires on the second level" Octavia suggests

"Good idea, you two go grab some" Clarke says to me and Octavia

"Stay away from the blue wires that run through the ceiling, I rigged them to the solar panels on the roof" Raven tells us "that means there hot, you got that?" Raven shouts when we don't answer

I just roll my eyes, just because we're not mechanics like her doesn't mean were stupid.

"We got it" Octavia replies annoyed

We get part way up the ladder when we see Bellamy and a few others return.

"Bellamy" Octavia calls out relived he's back

He and the other boys drop a blind folded man on the ground. I recognize him to be the grounder that captured Octavia.

"What the hell are you doing?" Octavia asks Bellamy

"It's time to get some answers" He replies

"Oh you mean revenge?" Octavia spits at him

"I means Intel, get him up stairs" Bellamy tells the two boys

I tug on octavias sleeve telling her we need to go get the wire.

We leave Clarke and Bellamy in a heated discussion.

As we're sitting collecting the wire on the second floor which is crowded with people, I turn to look at Octavia.

"What?" she asks when she sees me staring.

"I know this sounds stupid considering Finns down there dying and all but is there something going on between you and jasper because if there is I'll totally back off because..." I say starting to ramble

She shuts me up by putting her lips on mine.

"So I'll take that as a no?" I say chuckling

She answers by giving me another quick peck and then walking back over to the ladder gesturing for me to follow down stairs.

After we give Clarke the wire Octavia convinces me to come up to the third floor to see what's happening with the grounder.

"Octavia get out of here" Bellamy says as soon as he sees us

"I told you, he was protecting me, you didn't have to do this" Octavia says to him

"This isn't about you; I'm doing this for all of us." Bellamy tells her

"You did that for all of us?" Octavia says gesturing to the tied up grounders bleeding face.

"No I did that for Finn, Jasper, John, Diggs and Roma" He answers

"It wasn't even him" Octavia tells Bellamy

"You don't know that" bellamy shouts at her "we need to know what were up against, how many there are and why there killing us, he's goings to tell us right now" Bellamy says walking over to the grounder

"No Bellamy please" Octavia says grabbing his arm

"Miller get her out of here" Bellamy commands

Miller and another guy start to grab her and drag her towards the stairs.

"Hey get off of her" I yell lunging towards them.

Bellamy grabs my arm and pulls me back.

Octavia is forced to leave and goes down the stairs.

"Let go of me" I spit at Bellamy, thrashing to try and get him to loosen his grip.

He lets me go and shoves me towards the hatch.

I climb down to the second level to find Octavia

She's sitting in the corner of the second floor looking pissed off.

"Hey" I say sitting down next to her

"My brothers such an asshole" she groans

"Yea I don't think he likes me very much" I say chuckling

"Fuck him, I like you that's all that matters" She says putting her head on my shoulder

We sit and wait for a while until suddenly Clarke comes barrelling up from the first level and starts to bang on the third level hatch.

"Hey let me in" she yells hitting her fist against the metal

Octavia and I stand up and walk over to the ladder, knowing this maybe our only chance to get up there again to see what's happening.

The door is pulled open and Clarke pushes her way up. While the boys are distracted by her Octavia and I sneak up and stand in the back.

"What's on this" Clarke says holding a blade close to the grounders face

"What are you talking about?" Bellamy asks Clarke confused

"he poisoned the blade, he knew Finn was going to die no matter what we did."
