♤ Alice's POV ♤

"1, 2, 3!!" We counted down before downing our shots. I finished second and playfully glared at Kol.

"How do you do that?!" Liz asked Kol. I was pretty stunned too.

We had been treating ourselves all day. A.K.A downing shots and eating fries.

"Practice." Kol smirked.

"I need a beer." Liz said. She wobbled over to the counter.

The waitress came over and gave Kol the bill.

"That'll be-" she started.

"On the house." He said. She nodded before walking back. I raised an eyebrow.

"Family friend owns this place." He explained.

"Ah," I nodded.

"So, favorite authors?" He inquired, leaning forward.

"Um, Cassandra Clare and Jack London." I said.

We decided to play twenty questions and sometimes ending up finishing eachother's sentences or debating facts about whatever came to mind.

"So, what's your favorite color?" He asked.

"Favorite color?" I giggled.

"Yup." he confirmed.

"Dark blue." I said.

"Good." He said. He pulled out a necklace. The necklace was dark blue and looked as if you captured a piece of the galaxy.

"Wow." I breathed. He moved my hair and clasped the necklace.

"Thank you." I said.

"Much better." He said referring to the bracelet.

"If I didn't know better I'd say you were jealous of Ben." I smirked.

"Very." He said as he leaned his forehead on mine.

"It was an apology gift." I gulped.

"Did he actually apologise? " Kol asked as he smirked.

"No, I guess not." I chuckled.

He hummed in response and closed his eyes.

"Thank you, for helping me back at the Cabin." I recalled.

He opened his eyes and leaned in.

"Your welcome," he whispered before looking down at my lips.
