theo lay on samantha's bed, watching as she sat by her vanity and brushed her hair. "could you run me through the plan again and how i helped make it happen?" he requested.
after the talk with daniel, the two went their separate ways. theo went home, showered and got changed before making his way to the larusso's house.
sam laughed, "well, i told miguel what you said about our senseis and we hope to bring miyagi-do and eagle fang together, so we can join forces against cobra kai."
"right." theo nodded.
"you said johnny and my dad... and potentially your mom, need to talk it out and work things out." sam reminded him. "but i was thinking the step before that should be their students working things out."
"that's a great idea." theo grinned, moving closer to the edge of her bed. "you're welcome." he glanced at her mirror, which was littered with photos of her younger self. but a specific picture caught his eye. "hey... that's me?"
sam looked back at him with confusion, "what?" she questioned. theo stood up, walked over to the vanity and pointed to one of the photos. it was a picture amanda had taken of the girl in a restaurant in beverly hills. "where?"
"there." he pointed to the eleven-year-old boy in his football uniform walking past her table.
"are you serious?" sam asked, peeling the photo off her mirror. "wait that is you! what were you doing in beverly hills?"
"i had a football meet and we were staying in this hotel." theo explained, leaning over her shoulder to get a better look. "this was like... five years after we moved from santa monica. five years since we last saw you guys."
"and five years after this picture was taken, you guys moved to the valley." sam chimed in. "this is so cool?"
"wow." theo sighed, sitting back down on the bed. "that's like... fate?"
"like fate." she nodded in agreement, turning around to face him. "about yesterday..."
"right. sam, i think you're like... awesome. i mean, i had a huge crush on you when were kids. but you just got out of a relationship with robby." he reminded her. "and yesterday, when he saw us hugging, was pretty awkward. and the whole kiss with miguel. and your issues with tabby... it's a lot." theo said. "maybe we shouldn't rush into things?"
"yeah, i completely agree." sam nodded. "i just wanted to clear the air. i don't want things to be... awkward between us. i like having around."
