The Mushroom Kingdom, probably the most famous kingdom in the entire Nintendo world (sorry Hyrule). The story is basic. The damsel in distress is kidnapped by the villain. The hero embarks on a quest to rescue her. The hero defeats the villain and rescues the damsel in distress.
