Yup, that's me.
I got some Dark Souls drip with the Drakeblood Helmet, Undead Legion Armor, Ringed City Gauntlets, and Firelink Leggings, and now without further ado let's get this review started!
Dark Souls 3, at least from what I can tell, is a game based on an end to Dark Souls as a whole. Dark Souls 3 within its introductory shows off the land of Lothric, the main city that the players will be exploring... via time traveling... I think. The game clearly shows that Dark Souls 3 has time travel elements which I will get into. The prince of Lothric, Prince Lothric has refused to kindle the fire, not wanting to become a Lord of Cinder to continue the Age of Fire. And in doing so has caused a lot of problems for... basically everyone.
For one thing, the lords of Cinder from the past have begun to return with all of them reclaiming what was theirs and working with others. These Lords of Cinder are The Abyss Watchers, Yhorm the Giant, Aldrich: Devourer of the Gods, and Ludleth the Exiled. All of these people are the main bosses of the game and are required to be beaten.
The second thing is a new race of humans has appeared. The Unkindled. In the two prior Dark Souls games there were two races of Humans: Regular Humans and the Undead. The Undead could live forever but if they Hollow, lose the will to live, they die when someone kills them. The Unkindled, however, are special, they can be vessels for power allowing them to channel souls and continue the Age of Fire.
And the third thing comes from the DLC's: Ashes of Ariandel and the Ringed City... which... uh... Ashes of Ariandel is definitely a continuation of the Painted World from Dark Souls 1 while The Ringed City is a mashup of ancient civilizations at first until we are sent to the very end of the world and forced to fight against Slave Knight Gael who has reformed the Dark Soul of Humanity by slaying the Pygmy Lords of the Ringed City...
Yeah... Fromsoft went crazy with the final chapter of their hit series.
The protagonist from this one is an Unkindled which can be customized by the player character, with the classes being what we would expect from Fromsoftware. The Knight, Assassin, Wretch, Pyromancer, Cleric, the usual.
The game offers three endings, well technically four. Age of Fire, Age of the Dark, Age of the Dark where we kill the Firekeeper and Lord of Hollows. Age of Fire is of course us linking the fire, Age of the Dark is us summoning the Firekeeper to tend to the flame as it burns out. Age of the Dark where we kill the firekeeper is well... like I said we kill the firekeeper, and Lord of Hollows is where we follow the questline of Yuria of Londor, and Usurp the First Flame and become Lord of Hollows, which I'm pretty sure was Darkstalker Kaathe's plan in Dark Souls 1, but I could be wrong.
