Hey everyone, so this was originally supposed to come out like on New Year's Day but... I lost track of time writing Blood Of Spider-Man so, we're doing it now.
Now here are the rules for the boss fight list:
1. How Difficult were they
2. How much of an impact on the story or lore do they have
3. How enjoyable are they
4. How rage inducing are they when I fucked up
Side note: These are bosses from the games I played this year. This includes Lords Of The Fallen and Hollow Knight, I started playing them in 2024, so they count as 2024 bosses.
So the games I'm including are: Bloodborne, Cyberpunk, Bendy and the Dark Revival, The Dark Souls Trilogy, Elden Ring, Demon's Souls, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Ruined King, Sekiro, Mageseeker, Dying Light, Armored Core: Fires of Rubicon, Prey (2017), Hitman: World of Assassination, Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Lies Of P, AC: Oddyssey, Marvel's Spider-Man, Lords of the Fallen, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Hollow Knight.

The Light Reaper is a recurring Boss Fight that is not mandatory to beat until you return back to Upper Calrath where you face him for one last fight. The Light Reaper, in my opinion, will go down as an iconic boss for the Soulslike Genre in the future or as an iconic character in later Lords of the Fallen games. In the lore, the Light Reaper in the lore is an attempt by Adyr to create a Rhogar from the Umbral Lamps, and he succeeded by creating this four armed monster.
The boss fight is truly enjoyable, it is a three phase boss fight comprised over one whole health bar. The boss fight starts with him on top of his dragon, where he will breathe fire and send it down afterwards to face you in a pure 1v1. This boss, in my opinion, is the Isshin for this game, as you have to know the mechanics of the game to beat him, combining both the deflecting mechanic and the normal soulslike mechanics. You can cheese this fight yes, but I didn't because it was very fun for me to fight against him.
It only took me a couple tries to beat him, like 4-6, and even then the deaths weren't that rage inducing, it was a simple error, and I fixed it easily. The boss fight is difficult and due to the fact that the game allows you to refight bosses, I do plan on refighting this boss and I may use the character in future fanfics, namely crossovers or if I ever want to do a Lords Of The Fallen Fanfic.
