_ . _ . _ . _ . _
The episode eventually came to end, the pair in the same position they had begun in, except Hyunjin's arms had found their way around Felix's waist and his head was resting on the latter's shoulder.
They stayed in silence for a while, letting the end credits roll on while they took the time to simply appreciate the moment.
How simple, yet complicated the feeling was.
Eventually, Hyunjin spoke up, knowing he'd have to get the younger home sooner rather than later. "You tired?" He mumbled into Felix's ear, his head still resting on his shoulder.
Felix shook his head in response, although he had felt quite drowsy after the episode had ended, considering the later hour and how peaceful the atmosphere was.
Hyunjin hummed, not really convinced by the head shake. "You sure?"
Felix nodded his head and slowly detached Hyunjin's arms from his waist. Hyunjin lifted his chin as the younger turned around to face him. "Jinnie..." Felix called out soft, sounding unsure of something. The elder hummed in response, urging him to continue. "Uhm... I've always wanted to do something... it's kind of embarrassing, but... can we dance in the moonlight?" He asked, nervously, turning his gaze down to his lap.
Deep down, he knew Hyunjin wouldn't judge his request, but even knowing that wouldn't calm his nerves. He didn't want to make the elder uncomfortable by making him feel like he had to accept or like the idea.
Hyunjin let out a soft chuckle, amused by how shy the younger had gotten, only to ask him such a simple thing. "It's not embarrassing." He reassured, making Felix look back up with hopeful eyes. "It's cute... and romantic." Hyunjin smiled, earning a grin from the shorter boy.
The taller stood up from when he sat and extended and arm out towards the younger, his hand held out for him to take, his other arm tucked behind his back, while bowing with one leg crossed behind the other. "Care to dance, my princess?" He asked, boldly, emitting a small, playful giggle from Felix.
Secretly, he loved Hyunjin's cheesy side, although he would never admit just how much he loved it. "Of course, my prince." He played along, taking the hand that was being offered to him.
Hyunjin pulled Felix onto his feet and gently guided him along by his hand so they were standing in front of the moonlit ocean, barefoot in the sand, the gentle crashing of the waves and their breathing being the only music they needed. Hyunjin pulled Felix closer to him by the arm, still holding his hand in one hand, while the other held tightly onto his waist, pulling him even closer. Felix allowed Hyunjin to take lead, placing his unoccupied hand onto Hyunjin's shoulder.
And like that, they stepping in time with one another, dancing to the sound of silence (A/N : not the song, literally) and the waves over lapping one another.
While they slow danced, Felix took the time to properly admire the elder's features. The way the moon dimly illuminated his face in the perfect places, casting shadows onto his defined features, showing them off more. His caramel eyes twinkled the reflection of the moon as the pair turned slightly so Hyunjin was facing it. His brown hair fell perfectly onto his shoulders, messy, but tidy at the same time. A few lighter coloured strands stood out under the spotlight of the moon, the breeze tousling it just enough for the moment to seem cinematic. Felix noted the small dip in the corner of his mouth at his lips twitched up into a smile.
A prince. Felix thought.
What brought Felix out of his daydreams, was Hyunjin suddenly let go of his waist, only to spin him around and bring him back towards himself, his hands quickly finding Felix's waist again.
That short moment replayed in Hyunjin's mind in slow motion. How Felix's lips curved into a grin and his eyes turned to crescents, how his lips parted to let out a small giggle that sounded heavenly to Hyunjin's ears, the way his hair lifted in the wind and fell perfectly back into place just past his shoulders.
He was a goner, and he knew it, for a while now.
Hyunjin paused their movements, bring his face close to Felix's, letting his forehead rest against the youngers'. "Did you know, you're beautiful?" The taller breathed out in a whisper, his hot breath fanning Felix's face.
Felix's already wide smile, widened into a grin, showing off his perfect array of teeth. "Thank you, Jinnie Hyung." Felix whispered in response. "You too, you're like a real prince."
Hyunjin allowed his eyes to flutter shut as he let out a quiet chuckle. "You're an angle, baby." He returned the compliment.
A quick blush spread like wildfire across the youngers face. Felix was thankful Hyunjin had closed his eyes so he couldn't see how much his words affected him.
Felix responded to the compliment by lifting his face further up and pressing his lips softly against Hyunjin's for a few seconds before pulling away. "God, you drive me crazy." The elder mumbled.
He didn't let Felix reply before capturing his lips again in a longer kiss, still innocent, but longer, before pulling away.
And like that they shared innocent pecks to the lips for a few more moments before sharing a more passionate kiss, lips moving against each other in perfect rhythm, slotting together like puzzle pieces, their bodies opposite poles of a magnet.
They finally pulled apart, the need for air no longer ignorable, both panting lightly and smiling like idiots. They pulled apart reluctantly, their hands never leaving one another's, always in need for some sort of physical contact as they found their way back to the blanket.
Their hands only parted to pull their shoes on, the second they were finished, Hyunjin wasted no time to lace their fingers together again. "I'll take you home now." He declared softly. "I just need to quickly get the stuff together." He said, referring to the blanket and projector.
Felix nodded understandingly, letting go of Hyunjin's hand. "I'll help." He offered and, without waiting for a response, began to pack the remainder of the food into a basket.
The elder smiled as he watched Felix put the food away, before taking the sheet that was hung up between the two trees down, folding it and placing it into the basket. Felix helped Hyunjin fold the blanket and also put it in the basket.
'I could get used to this.' - Hyunjin thought to himself, still smiling at nothing in particular
Once they had tidied everything up, Hyunjin picked the basket up in one hand and held Felix's hand in the other as he guided them back to the car.
