It was finally the day, Ritika and Reyansh's wedding day.
As told by her Chachi, Chandni stayed away in all the functions, making sure nobody even notices her.

Just the last day and then she would finally have a person less to torture her, is was she thought as she sat in the last row, seeing the wedding aisle.

"Come with me!" She heard someone say.

Before she could realize who it was, she was dragged from the wedding hall.
As soon as they both came outside she realised who the person was.
"Chachi?" She exclaimed in confusion.

"You are actually a bad omen. You definitely jinxed the happiness." Her chachi said, tightening her hold around Chandni's wrist.

"Chachi what happened? Why did you bring me here? And where is Di?" Chandni asked, but all she got in response was paper ball at her face.

She picked up the paper ball and slowly straightened it. She began to read it and with each passing sentence her eyes became bigger and bigger in shock.

"Di... Ran away?" She asked, looking at her Chachi who was glaring at her.

"Yes, and it's your fault. You are actually a bad omen." Her chachi accused.

"What will we do now? The marriage is about to begin..." Chandni asked, worried.

"You'll go and marry him." Her Chachi said, shocking her.

"What are you saying Chachi? How can I go and marry him? Reyansh Sir is here for Di..." Chandni said.

"You just shut your trap and get changed in that wedding lehenga..." Her chachi said.

"Bu---" She tried to object, but her chachi held her neck and pushed her against the wall.

"Ch... Cha... Chachi, I'm...not... able to breathe." She said, trying to painfully breathe.

"Don't object anything I say. Go and get ready in that wedding outfit, put the sorry excuse of life to a little use." Her chachi said, throwing her on a chair and signalling at Lehenga.

"I'm warning you, I need you ready in fifteen minutes." Her chachi said and went out, while Chandni sat at her place.

She was not able to decipher what was actually going on, but she knew that her Chachi would create a very big seen if she doesn't find her in this outfit.

She stood up and started wearing her Lehenga. Her mind still not able to understand that she's actually getting married.

After twenty minutes when her chachi came in, she saw Chandni was completely ready.

"But Chachi why will he marry me? He's here for Di..." She started to say, but stopped when a slap landed on her cheek.

"Do not speak a word." Her chachi said, adjusting her veil that covered her face.

"Just make sure nobody lifts this veil until you reach their house. Then for all I care, they can even kill you after finding the truth." Her chachi said dragging her outside.

All this while, Chandni was numb. She didn't really feel emotions at any point in general, today was no different.
As they reached the wedding aisle, she sat next to Reyansh who had a really big smile on his face, unaware of the reality.
