Evil Queen had been exiled to the farthest, most remote, and practically abandoned part of the island, so by the time Evie and Carlos made it past Woeful Way and turned onto Hell Street,
"'Woeful', 'Hell Street', seriously who the hell named these roads?" Akiho asked under his breath.
both of them were panting from the long walk.
"Yeah that does happened when you walked or run or jagged for a long time." Emir said.
Without the fear of Maleficent, chaos had settled upon the Isle of the Lost and it appeared even the island's mostly undependable, rinky-dink transportation system had completely broken down. The goblins had abandoned their rickshaws, which were left to rust on the side of the roads.
"Yep." Ivy said. "But them most of us got over the 'betrayed' of the core four, but the goblins didn't get make to work until they were given new task by Mal."
"'Most of us'?" Akiho muttered to Emir, who nodded.
Everywhere they went, they were met with frowns and scowls. Evie tried not to look too nervous for Carlos's sake, since he was obviously extremely uncomfortable with all of the attention.
"Poor Carlos." Louis muttered.
"Good, just ignore all of the haters."
It didn't help that she was also exhausted and her feet hurt.
"Well, she's also wearing heels."
Evie told herself exercise was good for the skin, and wiped her forehead with her handkerchief.
"Which also happens when you run for a long time." All the tourney players said at the same time.
She was still wearing her fancy dancing shoes with the high heels, and she almost fell in relief when they finally reached the familiar tall, gray stone walls of the Evil Queen's castle.
"Hell I would be relief to if I had to run in heels, that many miles." Lonnie had said.
Then she remembered she was afraid to face her mother.
"Ah, there it is." Akiho said, feeling bad for his friends.
He couldn't even imagine being afraid of his parents.. he'll he get even imagine being afraid of his aunt and uncle.
She knocked on the heavy fortress door. "Mom?" she called nervously. "Um, it's me? Evie! Are you there?"
"Something tells me if the Evil Queen was there, she wouldn't be too happy that Evie was there." Emma said softly.
"Does the Evil Queen has another daughter?" Joked Akiho. When he noticed that the White family and Evie's family didn't laugh, (Leopard told them in the earlier breaks) . "Wait, she seriously had another daughter?"
"I'll tell you later." Emma said.
"It looks deserted," said Carlos, glancing askance at the cobwebs and dust.
Snow White remembers cleaning the cobwebs and the dust from when she cleaned the entire castle, she said sorry to the spiders as she did it.
"Oh, it always looks like this," Evie assured him. " Mom's big on personal maintenance, but housekeeping, not so much."
"We didn't think so." Raymond said.
"Evie told me, Regina made her cleaned the cobwebs and dust into the castle." Snow White muttered her breath.
"Let me see if I can find the key," she said, walking over to the nearest wall and feeling for a brick that had come loose.
"Well that's kinda dangerous, what if one of them fell on somebodies foot." Payton said, causing Audrey to softly to roll her eyes. Her key to her house is hidden by a loose brick.
