Arabella gulped, then she gulped ten more times.

Trying to calmed her nerves.............

It's not working, not one bit.

After saying goodbye to Ben, Mal burst out the library doors and crossed campus, weaving her way through a crowd of students rushing out of their classes, and headed to study hall. Evie deployed the emergency-text-option sparingly, so Mal knew it was serious. When she finally arrived back at their room, she found Evie sitting on the bed with Arabella, who was sniffing and wiping her eyes.

"What's wrong?" Her mother asked as she and the rest of the family looked at her worriedly.

"I hope everything okay." Ariel said, putting her youngest (newborn) daughter on her shoulder as she put her hand on her niece shoulder to comfort her.

"Mal! Thank goblins you're here," said Evie.

"Thank goblins! Then this really is serious, when was the last time Evie said 'goblins' in a conversation?" Doug asked.

Thank goblins? Things must really be serious if Evie was slipping back into Isle-speak. Mal took a seat across from Arabella and tried to look comforting.

And it was very comforting, Arabella thought as she once again gulped.

"Tell Mal what you told me," Evie said to her friend.

Mal thought that maybe Arabella, who was new to Auradon Prep, had some kind of first-year problem.

I'm thinking it's the same thing too, Alana thought as she looked at her daughter. But I know my daughter, and she wouldn't react like what was shown.

The villain kids all have questions when they'd first arrived too:

"Why didn't they asked them?"

"You don't even know what the questions are Akiho." Edur said to his cousin.

Was it okay to eat as much food as you could from the refectory? (Jay)

"Of course it was Jay, and no, it's not okay to eat as much, period because you might get a stomach ache." Aziz said.

"He did asked that and got the same answer." Emir said.

Could you take as many classes as you could fit into your schedule—or even take two classes at the same time, if you worked really fast? (Carlos, of course.)

"He did asked that... he asked that again last night." Fairy Godmother said. "I will put that on his schedule, but the two classes at the same time, no because that would put more pressure on the student, but I can put one of the classes at a different time, along with his sports activities."

Evie had wanted to know if they had to wear uniforms (they didn't),

"Of course we don't."

"Well, in the beginning we did have to wear uniforms." Chip said. "But that just made us feel uncomfortable, so thankful Fairy Godmother changed it."

while Mal's only question was where she could acquire purple spray paint (the art studio). Although it had to be more serious than that, since Evie's texted SOS.

"I have a big problem." Arabella gulped and wiped her eyes. She was shaking. Hmmm. Definitely not the usual freshman drama, thought Mal.

"Well Arabella isn't the one to react like that if it was the usual freshman drama." Alana said, still worried that her daughter might be in trouble.

Evie soothed. "Big problems are Mal's specialty."
