Chapter 112: Fairy Goddaughter Casts a Spell

A merman is a gold scale-patterned uniform came flying at him, sending the  ball toward the goal, but Carlos blocked it quickly, throwing it back into the melee. Jay caught the ball with his paddle and ran down the field, jumping on shields, dodging every defenseman and cannonball shot in his path, until he successfully sent the ball whizzing into the Seaside goal. Yes!

As the rest of the parents cheered as the seaside groaned. (Well except Ariel and Eric because their girls go to Auradon).

Poseidon and Triton sent Uma a letter inviting her to be the Principal/ headmistress of Seaside College (it's a high school) this morning.

But the Seaside team quickly recovered.

"As we always do."

Carlos was still celebrating Jay's score when another merman came barreling toward him, almost certain to score.

"This is why I tell your boys to keep ya head in the game." Coach Jenkins said to the boys, whether those on the team now or then, he meant it by his tone. "And don't celebrate too quickly."

"Yes coach."

The ball shot toward the very edge of the goal, and right when it seemed all was lost, Carlos flew up and slammed it away from the net, just as the whistle blew to end the game.

Causing many of Auradon to cheered as the Seaside groaned again. But none was more happy than Ivy, Ginny and the future kids.

"Anyone else thinks we should change the name of our tourney team?" Poseidon asked.

It was the final game of the season, and they had just won the championship against the number one seed.

"Now it is R.O.A.R., enchantedfall, and Frozen Ice season." Merida said.

"But it's that just with Olympics, dear?"

"I think so."

Carlos cheered, jumping up in the air and waving his paddle. He pointed to at Jay. "You!"

"You!" cheered Jay, removing his helmet and rushing across the field to thump Carlos in the chest. They laughed and joined their team in a group hug, a sweaty huddle of excitement and adrenaline.

Ashaki made a disgusted and a gaged as she saw how sweaty her brothers are and how stinky they might be, Why does Carlos look hot like that?

"I hope you at least took a shower." She said to her brother.

"Of course I did, I took one in the shower area in the locker room.... well except Carlos and Jay, they took a shower the bathroom in the school." Emir said, and I know why they did that, he thought sadly as Ashaki nodded.

Then, like the good sports they'd learned to be, they joined their teammates in consoling their opponents, who were congratulating them. "Good game, good game,"
Carlos said, high-fiving the defense mermen as they streamed by the Auradon Fighting Knights.

"Yo! Bomb Goalie!" yelled Herkie, a rather large teammate.

Hercules and Meg shook their heads fondly at their youngest son. "He's always been large for his aged, even in Meg's womb."

"He was so big that I had to have a c, d and e-section." Meg said, putting a hand on her stomach where the scar is still there, healed but still there.
