Chad Charming wasn't particularly happy to have been woken up at dawn on a Sunday,

"Been there. But wait it's Sunday now?"

While Ginny couldn't help but smile at that, her dear husband still does but he doesn't like it show, especially when he comes to their kids.

"Really, old man, why on earth are we going to Charmingto? Mom's going to freak when we get there,you know she likes to have everything sparkling clean for a royal visit," said Chad.

"Correction Chad, I liked everything to be sparkling clean for any visiter." Cinderella corrected her son.

"I told you, I have an early meeting with the grand duke about the upcoming ball," said Ben, who wasn't about to tell Chad about the dragon menace just yet.

"Oh, don't tell him Ben, he'll have fit and accuse it's one of the innocent Vks." Kitty said.

"And you know the fastest way get there."

"Now that is the truth."

"Fine," said Chad, leaning back in the passenger seat. "Keep on this lane and then the exit at Belle's Harbor, then we can take the back roads until you get to the Stately Chateau."

Ben did as directed, glad that Charmington Cove wasn't stuck in the past like Camelot,

"Yeah, I'm thankful for that too Ben."

and he could actually drive his own car without the burden of the full royal entourage.

If he could have taken his motorbike, he would have, but the sporty coupe was fun to drive too. Plus, he'd been meaning to talk to Chad about something.

"Oh is it the thing that Jay told you not to talk about to Chad or worry about." Kitty said, very excited, as Chad looked at Ginny in worry.

"Hey, Chad," he said. "What's up between you and Jay lately? Have you been giving him a hard time?"

"Wait you being giving them a hard time?" They all asked, their eyes narrowed, Chad gulped and nodded his head but looked shocked that Ginny didn't asked that too.

Ginny seeing the shock look on his face, chuckled. "What? Do you really think I didn't know what you did after all these years."

Chad shrugged. "I mean yeah.. you're with me so of course I thought you didn't know.."

Ginny looked at him sadly. "I'm not one to judge your past actions with my background."

Chad snorted. "Those villain kids are getting big heads, don't you think? Strutting around Auradon like they own it. Someone's got to put them in their place."

Piper and Ramona agreed with him.

"They not.. they don't... they trying to... someone got to put you in your place Chad."

"Their place is in Auradon now," said Ben angrily. "Look, man, they're just trying to fit in. Give it a rest, will you?"
