Siobhan and Viv just spent the afternoon comfortable in each others company. Although Siobhan had never been a big fan of children, she couldn't fault Jamie. He quietly knelt at the table drawing for most of the afternoon, only stopping to show off his artwork or ask for a drink or a snack.

Siobhan noticed a lot of his drawings, although not easily decipherable, where meant to be spaceships. At least that's what he told them they were supposed to be.

A few hours later, Marjorie returned home.

"Alright, Siobhan, hiya Viv, I wasn't expecting to see you. And Jamie as well. Well, you have had lots to keep you occupied today." She leant down and ruffled Jamie's hair as she walked past.

"Hi Marjie." He replied. Marjorie being another name he hadn't been able to master yet. "Do you live here with Bon-Bon?"

Marjorie looked at Siobhan and Viv. "Bon-Bon?"

Viv fielded the confused look on Marjories face. "Oh, Siobhan, like Marjorie is one of those names he can't seem to master. When he tried earlier, that's how it came out. Siobhan said she doesn't mind if it's easier for him."

"Oh, right. Bless him. He really does put so much effort in. What have you been drawing, Jamie?" She asked, sitting down on the sofa next to where he was kneeling. The toddler started showing her the stack of drawings he'd done and telling her all about them. As he started talking about spaceships, she couldn't help but wonder if one or both of the twins would get this excited by space like their father.

As Marjorie day dreamed about whether the twins would be like Reece or her and she thought back over her afternoon with Reece, Siobhan interrupted her thoughts, she'd noticed she was in way too good of a mood to have been in work. Nothing that good could have happened there. She was fairly sure she knew where Marjorie had really been. "How was your day, Marjorie?"

Marjorie seemed a little flustered as she answered. "Yea, yea, it was fine. You know what it's like."

"Anything... interesting happen?" Siobhan pushed.

"Nah, no, nothing really."

Siobhan nodded slightly and let Marjorie fall back into her thoughts.

"How was Reece?" Siobhan asked, watching Marjorie intently for her reaction.

A dreamy look crossed Marjories face at the mention of his name, and she sighed. "Yea, he's goo...." She caught herself before she finished her sentence. She saw Siobhan and Viv staring at her, although Viv had a slight smirk on her face. Almost an "I knew it" look.

"Marjorie, I know you didn't go to work today because I've tried calling you. When you didn't answer, I rang the nursery, and Agatha said you had a day's leave. I also called the sister nursery,  Deliah told me Reece was off as well. She seemed to think he was using the day to win you back as he's been down since he left. What's going on?"

Marjorie was just about to answer when there was a knock on the door. Viv went to answer it, Marjorie looked like she needed an escape, and Viv knew she needed to stay and talk to Siobhan. When Viv opened the door, Mia barged straight past. "Marjorie? You left your phone behind. I've been sent to give it back. Hi Viv, Shibby." She said, throwing the phone towards Marjorie. She could sense the atmosphere and stopped to look between the three women. "What have I walked into?"

Siobhan broke the silence. "Leave that at Reeces, did you?"

Mias eyes widened as she looked at Marjorie. "Oh fu...."

Marjorie leant forwards and covered Jamie's ears with her hands. "MIA!!! Language! There's a child in the room."

Mia turned to Marjorie. "You two just couldn't leave each other alone, could you. You have to give the game away, idiots."
