You're sitting on the floor at the Gym, waiting for Changbin to finish his workout. You've been hanging out a lot lately, just the two of you, and it's become something you look forward to more than you'd care to admit. There's something about being around him that makes you feel at ease, even when your heart is racing just from being near him.
He's at the far end of the room, lifting weights with ease, his focus entirely on his workout. You try to keep yourself occupied, scrolling aimlessly on your phone, but your eyes keep drifting back to him. It's impossible not to watch him, not when he looks that good.
He's wearing a sleeveless shirt that shows off his muscular arms, and every time he lifts the dumbbells, his biceps flex in a way that has you mesmerized. His skin glistens with a slight sheen of sweat, and the way his muscles move with each rep... it's like watching a work of art in motion.
You've been staring for a while now, completely lost in thought. The way his shoulders broaden, the way his back muscles ripple with each movement—it's all too much, and you can't look away. You're so focused on him that you don't even notice when he finishes his set and puts the weights down.
When you finally snap out of your trance, you realize with a jolt that Changbin is looking right at you. He's caught you staring, and the amused smirk on his face tells you he's known for a while.
"Enjoying the view?" he asks, his voice teasing and playful.
Your face flushes instantly, your heart skipping a beat. "I-I wasn't... I mean, I didn't..."
Changbin chuckles softly, walking over to where you're sitting. He grabs a towel on his way and wipes the sweat from his face, never taking his eyes off you. "It's okay, Y/N. I don't mind if you stare."
You look away, trying to hide your embarrassment, but he's not about to let you off the hook that easily. He drops the towel on the floor and sits down next to you, so close that your shoulders are almost touching. The warmth of his presence makes your heart race even more.
"You've been watching me for a while now," he says, his tone still light, but there's a hint of something more in his voice. "Is there something on your mind?"
You swallow hard, trying to come up with an excuse, but your brain is too flustered to think straight. "I was just... um... I was just..."
Changbin leans in closer, his eyes locking onto yours. "You were just...?"
The proximity makes it impossible to think of anything but how close he is, how you can feel the heat radiating off his body, how his arm looks even more defined up close. You know you've been caught, so there's no use denying it now.
"I was just... admiring your muscles," you finally admit, your voice barely above a whisper.
He grins, clearly pleased with your confession. "Yeah? You like what you see?"
You bite your lip, nodding despite yourself. "You're... really strong."
Changbin's grin widens, and before you know it, he's flexing his arm right in front of you, the muscle bulging under his skin. "Wanna feel?"
Your heart nearly stops at the offer. It's not the first time he's teased you like this, but this time, it feels different. This time, you can tell he's not just joking around—he's serious.
Hesitantly, you reach out and place your hand on his bicep, your fingers brushing against the solid muscle. It's warm, firm, and undeniably strong, just like you imagined. You can't help but marvel at how much power is contained in that one arm.
Changbin watches your reaction closely, his voice dropping to a soft murmur. "I work hard to stay in shape, you know. I'm glad you appreciate it."
You look up at him, your hand still resting on his arm, and for a moment, it feels like the whole world narrows down to just the two of you. There's something in his eyes—something intense, almost vulnerable—that makes your breath catch in your throat.
"I do," you whisper back, your heart pounding. "I really do."
The air between you shifts, and suddenly, everything feels different. There's a tension now, an unspoken understanding that something has changed. Changbin's eyes flicker down to your lips, then back up to your eyes, and you know he's thinking the same thing you are.
Before you can second-guess yourself, he closes the distance between you, leaning in slowly. Your heart races as his face gets closer, and then, finally, his lips are on yours.
The kiss is soft at first, almost tentative, as if he's testing the waters. But when you respond, kissing him back with equal enthusiasm, he deepens the kiss, one hand coming up to cup your cheek as he pulls you closer.
It's everything you've ever wanted—a mix of passion and tenderness that leaves you breathless. When you finally pull apart, both of you are slightly out of breath, but there's a satisfied smile on Changbin's face that makes your heart swell.
"I've wanted to do that for a while," he admits, his voice low and sincere.
You smile back, feeling a rush of warmth and happiness. "Me too."
Changbin chuckles, his thumb brushing softly over your cheek. "Guess we're both on the same page, then."
You nod, your smile growing wider. "Yeah, I guess we are."
For a moment, the two of you just sit there, enjoying the closeness, the feeling of having finally crossed that line from friends to something more. There's a comfort in it, a sense of rightness that makes everything feel perfect.
And as you rest your head on Changbin's shoulder, feeling the steady rise and fall of his breath, you know that this is just the beginning of something amazing.
