Katsuki is already on Izuku's bed before he can even shut the door all the way. It's not like he can fucking help it or anything! It must be because the damn nerd spends so much fucking time in his bed that it's been broken in or some shit. Katsuki's own mattress is hard as hell, and he doesn't have the fucking time to tell his old hag about it.
Thats the only fucking reason his shoes are neatly by the door, and he's sunk into the comforter in two seconds flat. Izuku is looking through his phone, sighing. Katsuki can see his screen from where he's laying, and sees the number of missed calls and messages. Izuku is sitting by the bedside table on the floor, leaning on the bed.
"My mom said she's hanging out at your moms house for a while..."
Izuku grins at him, and Katsuki swears he can see his own reflection shining in his eyes.
"We have good luck, huh?"
Katsuki wouldn't agree that both of them have good luck, judging from the number of ignored calls and threats on his own phone. He huffs, resting his head on his folded arms.
"Whatever you say, nerd."
Izuku is back on his phone, and Katsuki watches as he types on it. The smell of something sweet reaches his nose, with an undertone of some generic ass body wash. Honestly, from his first impression of the nerd, he expected the bed to be the same way it was every time he comes over. Covered in empty wrappers and junk food and dirty clothes.
Of course, there are still times he sees empty chip bags under the nerd's bed, but he guesses that's a habit that's going to be hard to beat out of him. He stares at how the curls on his head form, twisting in broad, smooth strokes. Then, there is a bright ass fucking light shining in his face and he instinctively shoves the source away.
"Bastard! Get that shit out of my face!"
He turns, glaring over his shoulder at Izuku, who is still holding up his phone for him to see.
"Sorry! I just wanted to show you what we can do!"
Katsuki tries to blink out the black dots spotting his vision, flipping back onto his other side as Izuku stands up quickly, already bustling around.
"Hold on!"
He's too busy rubbing his eyes anyway, and when he gives up, Izuku is carrying a huge bundle of blankets in his arms. The fabrics are spilling out of his arms as he struggles to simultaneously turn on the light. Katsuki just observes him as he drops the blankets in the middle of the ground, running out to get more. Katsuki calls out,
"Just tell me what the hell you're doing!"
He hears the sound of a door being forced closed, and Izuku running back up the stairs.
