** A month had went by since Phoebe was abducted. She had slowly started to feel like her self again. She would continue to go out on walks with Beau, she would play soccer at the open field near Tim's house, and she continued therapy. Tim was being the best support system he could be. He was constantly there for her. Making sure her water bottle was filled, he took her on walks, took care of Beau and made dinner. But, what pained him the most was she barely talked about what had happened to her. He knew she needed time to adjust, and feel better but it pained him knowing she flinched at his touch, and would push him out of the bathroom.
Today, Phoebe had her final appointment with the cardiologist. This appointment would determine if Phoebe was able to return back to work. Phoebe wanted to go back to work she was ready to slowly enter her normal routine again. But, most of all she wanted to go back to helping other people.
Phoebe and Tim sat in the waiting room at the cardiology department at Shaw Memorial, as they waited for her name to be called. Tim looks over at her he noticed her leg was bouncing up and down in anxiety.
"Are you okay?" He asks her. Phoebe snaps out of her thoughts and looks over at Tim "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little nervous" she tells him. Tim nods his head, he understood that she was nervous, he was also feeling nervous as well.
A nurse walks into the waiting room with a clipboard in hand "Phoebe Anderson?" She calls out. Both Phoebe and Tim stand up. The nurse gives them a small smile and gestures them to follow her.
Once she is in the room the nurse takes her vitals, and removes her heart monitor that was clipped onto her chest. She looks over at Phoebe "I'll be back in a few minutes. I'm going to have the doctor look it over" she says to them. Phoebe nods her head and watches as she leaves.
Tim looks over at her "I was thinking maybe we can grab some dinner this weekend?" He asks her. Phoebe looks over at him with a blank expression on her features. She nods her head "Sure, if you want to do that" she tells him. Tim nods his head and looks away. Not only was this adjustment affecting Phoebe, but it was affecting both Phoebe and Tim's relationship. She didn't like to be touched or hugged, he had tried a few times to get her to go out to dinner with him. But each time she denied. He was going to do what he could to help her.
The doctor walks in with a smile on his face "Great news Phoebe, your EKG scans came back normal, and no abnormalities has popped up. I say you're free to return to regular activities including work" he tells her. Phoebe gives him a small smile and takes the paper work from his hands "Thank you, Dr. Cooper" she tells him.
