"Ma, I've been fine. Just busy," Yunjin sat on the practice room couch, watching her members mess around with some new dance moves.
"Too busy to call your mother? It's been a week since you went back to Korea." Her mother scolded.
The girl heaved a sigh, knowing it was no use to argue with her. She was hot and sweaty from practising their new (and super secret) new choreo that she was itching to tell their fanbase about, and arguing with her mother would only make her moody for the entire day.
"Yeah, sorry. Got caught up in practising. Eunchae really loves the candy, by the way. Our manager hasn't confiscated it yet," Yunjin chuckled.
"Really? Good!"
"Mrs. Huh, can you tell Yunjin to stop stealing my yogurt?" Kazuha called from across the room.
Yunjin gave her a sharp look. "I don't–"
"Yeah, and I still need my shirt back!" Chaewon added.
"Seems like you've got your hands full," Her mother laughed. "You remember Aiden, don't you? Alysha's kid. He asked about you the other day when they came by, and I think–"
"Gotta go, bye mom." Yunjin groaned, pressing the big red button that would make all her problems go away.
She got off the couch and slumped towards the girl, exhaling a dramatically long sigh. Her target was Chaewon, which did not go unnoticed as she opened her arms and welcomed the girl into her embrace.
They were warm and sweaty, but Yunjin sank into it as Chaewon gently rubbed her back. Nothing made her feel better than her 5' 3 teddy bear.
"At least she won't bother you for another week, right?" The short girl chuckled.
Yunjin nodded into the fabric of Chaewon's shirt. "I'm tired. Can we take a break? We've been in this stuffy room for hours," She requested.
"I'm tired too. How about we grab something to eat?" Eunchae suggested, rubbing her hollow-sounding tummy.
Sakura excitedly tapped Kazuha's shoulder. "Oh, let's get a waffle at the cafe," She said, her voice pitched like Mickey Mouse.
"You guys can go, I'm just going to the convenience store. Want to grab some more food for the mini fridge," Yunjin shrugged as she nodded her head towards the lonely fridge that was tucked away in the corner next to their couch.
Chaewon nonchalantly tapped the tall girl's behind with her hand. "I'll go with you, can't have you disappearing in the store for an hour again." She hummed.
The other pulled back to look at her, quite obviously offended. "That happened, like, once! And they had a lot of good food." She said.
Kazuha stared at the two in disgust. "Have fun on your little grocery date. Let's go, wife and child," She exhaled a sigh as she wrapped her arms around Sakura and Eunchae. She pulled them towards the exit, and the youngest just laughed while the eldest glanced over her shoulder in a mild panic.
"Love you, text me when you're heading back! Jeez, Zuha, you're fast." She called out as they rounded the corner.
Which left Yunjin and Chaewon alone.
"They're gone," The short girl hummed, her hands still shamelessly glued to Yunjin's ass.
The other hummed, pressing a kiss against Chaewon's forehead. She peeled the girl's hands off her body, a smirk glowing on her lips. "You're very handsy, you know," She said.
Chaewon shrugged, intertwining their hands. "Haven't heard you complain," She retorted, her face inching closer.
"Caught me there." Yunjin nodded. Their lips were hovering near each other, the two enveloped in a silent competition of who would break first.
