Agent Ingly walked quickly along the streets of anew York, a briefcase with several important files in held tightly in her right hand. A phone was pressed against her left ear as she relayed information to her boss about the mission to retrieve the valuable documents.

As she walked the young red head walked passed two small children, completely oblivious to their presence. However, a small voice caused the inter to stop in mid step and listen closely. "I told you we were invisible!" The voice snapped, it was female and she sounded angry.

"It's not my fault." Another small voice argued feebly. "I thought that someone would see us!"

"We need to go Deanna." The first voice spoke again, just as Jamelah turned around. When she did she caught sight of two girls no older than six, both sitting on the bottom few stairs of the library she had just passed. One girl was brunette and looked taller than her blonde friend.

"Fury I have to call you back." Agent Ingly said to her boss just before she cut off the call and continued to watch two small children.

"But go where Beth?" The blonde asked as they both stood up. Beth took Deanna's hand and lead her down the few stairs to reach the streets.

"I don't know De, but we have to go. No one cares about us and we can't sit on the stairs all night." Beth replied as she began pulling her friend along behind her. Deanna followed closely behind the brunette, their hands still locked together just like young children often did to be sure not to lose each other.

"This isn't fair." Deanna murmured just as they passed past Jamelah, neither looking back to the red head. The blondes eyes welled with tears as they small pair continued down the street.

"Excuse me!" Jamelah called, moving quickly to catch up with the two girls. However neither girl looked behind as Beth lead them down an ally way not to far from the library. "Excuse me!" Jamelah yelled again as she also walked down the allyway. There was no response at first.

Just as the inter was about to call again both girls heads appeared from behind a large skip. The brunette looked mildly interested in what the young woman wanted whereas the blonde still had tears in her eyes. "Where are your parents?" Agent Ingly questioned, taking a step forward.

"Gone home." Beth replied. It was only then that the Agent noticed that both girls had a British accent and they definitely weren't from the U.S.

"Gone back to your hotel?"

"No." Deanna replied with a small shake of her head. "They went back to England, both our Moms and Dads."

"You two aren't sisters?" Jamelah asked, confused.

"No." Beth giggled lightly. "You don't need to be so confused, it's normal since we are two young girls together."

"Why haven't they taken you with them?"

"Because we're different." Deanna spoke again, her hands clutching the side of the skip while her brunette friend moved from behind the hiding device.

"Different? Different how?" Agent Ingly asked, kneeling down in front of the two children.

"I can understand and empathise with every emotion." Bethany replied. "And Deanna can speak and write every language like its her first language."

"You two sound very cleaver anyway." Jamelah noted. "Is that because of your talents?"

"The talents help." Deanna nodded, coming out from behind the skip herself.

"You two can come with me." Jamelah decided, jumping to her feet, the brief case still in her right hand. "I'll take you to see my boss. Maybe we can help you both." The red head held her left hand out, hoping one of the girls would take in so she didn't lose them on the rest of the walk.

Carefully Beth held onto the young interns hand and Deanna grabbed her friends other hand. With a small nod Jamelah began leading the pair out of the allyway and towards the building she was on her way to minuets before hand. Neither girl said a word as they followed closely behind.

"Is your boss scary?" Deanna asked, her hand holding Beth's tighter. The red head paused for thought before she replied.

"He's only scary when he's angry."

"Everyone's scary when they're angry." Beth spoke up.

"Yes." Jamelah agreed. "But my boss is extra scary when he's angry."
