Two weeks later (The twins are now working with the Avengers)

Ultron stood waiting for the Avengers, his back to the core and two little girls chained to it. The robot was looking forward to finally getting rid of the group of heroes, Bethany and Deanna were the perfect bait. The children watched their surroundings closely, waiting to catch sight of the team they had come to know.

"What is taking them so long?" Ultron complained, tilting his head from side to side. Neither girl replied to the rhetorical question causing the robot to turn to them. "Why so fearful?" He asked, stepping towards the cowering girls. "I'm not going to hurt you: yet."

"Ultron!" A voice yelled just as a circular piece of metal bounced off the robots head.

"Steve!" Bethany and Deanna jumped to their feet as the super soldier appeared before them, closely followed by the rest of the team and the Maximoff twins.

"Ah how nice of you to join us." Ultron mused, stepping on the chains and causing the girls to fall back to the floor. "It's a shame you're so late, you could have saved these two young ones from being shown their fears." Ultron turned to Wanda.

"She was ordered to do it!" Bethany yelled, struggling against the chains still trapped under the robots foot.

"Don't blame Wanda, Ultron made her!" Deanna added just as Ultron yanked on the chains, causing both girls to scream and fall onto their stomachs before him.

"Such a shame, you two had powers that could help me." Ultron mechanically sighed. "But I guess everything good has a bad side."

"Leave them alone!" Pietro growled, getting ready to run towards the machine. Ultron didn't listen to the male Maximoff, instead he pulled the chains towards him even more and tightened the cuffs around the small girls wrists.

"There's something you must know about me." The robot began, letting the girls drop to the floor once more. "I don't take kindly to orders."

"You'll take orders from me." Tony spoke up, his own suit whizzing as she stepped forward. "Let my daughters go." Everyone froze in place for a moment before staring at the billionaire. Bethany and Deanna exchanged confused looks while the team all kept their eyes on the brunette in an Iron suit.

"What did you just say?" Clint asked, blinking several times over.

"Did I hear that correctly?" Natasha asked, raising an eyebrow. Tony sighed and flipped the mask up.

"What?" He asked, holding his hands up. "Pepper thinks of them as daughters, and I'm going to hell and back if they die."

"So what? You're adopting them?" Steve asked. Tony looked towards the two girls in question. Bethany and Deanna were watching him with wide, hopeful eyes.

"Yeah." He sighed, "Peppers been convincing me to consider it, now looking at them and what my creation has done to them. I think this is the only way I can say sorry don't you?"

"Sem dúvida o mínimo que pode fazer." (Definitly the least you can do. Portuguese) Deanna replied quietly. Ultron whipped round to face the young girls once more, causing them to back away slightly in fear.

"Hand them over Ultron." Steve order, his shield rising slightly.

"You'll have to beat me first." The robot cooed slightly before lifting his hand. Hundreds of versions of himself began crawling up from the fountains, rocks and out of buildings. "Let the battle begin."
