CHAPTER TEN ━━━━━━━
HEADBUTT.
ROBYN SAT ON JACKSON'S LAP IN THE CLUB.
The music boomed through the speakers as some of the footballers hung around the VIP section, drinking, laughing and overall having a generally great time. Robyn though wasn't exactly in her element. Although she loved a good party, the feeling of Jackson's fingers digging into her exposed waist made her skin itch. So, she lifted herself up off of him, grabbed herself another drink from the bar and once she made her way back over, she instead plopped herself to sit on the other side of Keeley.
Keeley grinned as soon as Robyn sat down beside her. Clinking their glasses of cocktails together whilst sending her a questionable look as to why she left her boyfriend's side.
She shook her head at Keeley and continued to sip her drinks. Enjoying the music blasting through the speakers and ignoring the confused look Jackson sent her. Until he came over and squeezed himself in between her and the armrest of the couch, leaving her no room at all and practically forcing her into both his and Keeley's laps. She let out a quiet sigh into her glass. Spotting the slightly pink rim of it from her lipstick.
Jamie, who was sat on the other side of Keeley, even turned his head around to look in the direction of Robyn and Jackson. Furrowing his brows in confusion as he watched the couple. But everyone's attention suddenly was whisked away when Roy Kent stormed inside. Clearly not having planned to come down to the club as suggested by his much more casual outfits choice compared to everyone else.
Steam was practically escaping his ears as he pushed towards the VIP section. Robyn couldn't help but wonder if this was still about what he was looking for Jamie for earlier that day. But whatever it was, Roy wasn't here to play, that was for sure.
"Hello, Roy!" A cheery Welsh voice quipped, "I didn't think this was a retirement party."
Roy didn't waste any time in headbutting Colin right in the nose. Robyn sat up straight. Her eyes widening as she (and the few people around her) let out shocked gasps. Watching as Colin fell down to the ground, moaning in pain and holding his hands up to his sore nose.
Roy stalked over to the couch. His eyes filled with fire. Robyn wasn't scared, knowing very well who this anger was targeted towards. And so it made sense when she glanced over and spotted the way Jamie sank further into the couch cushions, clearly frightened that he would be the next victim, no matter how much he tried to act like it wasn't bothering him.
"Stop messing with Nate!" Roy's gruff voice yelled over the music. He towered over Jamie with a power looming over him. One that Jamie had never seen before, despite Roy being the captain.
