WHEN THEY LOST JAMIE TARTT, AFC RICHMOND HAD LOST ONE OF THEIR ACES.

With the only upside of it all being that they still had one ace left. Dani Rojas. Number fourteen.

However, ever since the death of Earl the Greyhound, it seemed that AFC Richmond had lost its one and only ace left. With the death very obviously affecting Dani even after he finished 'showering the death off of him'. And even after a weekend away from playing, he still hadn't gone back to his old bubbly self that played like a football god.

No, instead Dani Rojas was now a shell of his former self.

Robyn never would have thought that she would miss hearing 'Football is life' being cheered over and over again throughout the day, but now, with how seldom Dani had become, she truly did miss hearing his famous phrase. And she couldn't help but worry for him. They all did.

She stood in between Beard and Nate. The trio watching as the boys began their practise. But instead of doing normal drills, the team had gathered around their striker, trying to encourage him to practise taking penalties. Which every single time would go over the goal post far too high to be simple accidents.

Ted ran onto the pitch, the smile on his face contrasting with the atmosphere that had surrounded the pitch, "Hey, sorry I'm late, I was helping the boss pick out nail colours," He explained, holding up his hand to show off the different colours on his fingernails, ranging from blues to whites to pinks, "She said you weren't helpful," He added, directing his last statement to Robyn.

"How wasn't I helpful?" Robyn scoffed, shaking her head in disbelief, "I told her to go with red, to represent the blood of her enemies and show her power. Who wouldn't want that?"

Beard nodded and pointed at her in agreement before he turned to look at Ted with a somber expression, "We got a situation, Coach."

"He's underselling," Nate added, "We've got a Shakespearean fucking tragedy."

Ted looks confused but all three coaches nodded out onto the pitch. Where Isaac was approaching Dani with a ball. The Mexican striker was still standing on the penalty spot.

"Come on, Dani, one more time, yeah?" Isaac said, placing the ball at Dani's feet, "Have another go."

The coaches and the team all watched as Dani let out a tired sigh. He took a few steps back before running at the ball. And once again Dani's normal precise kick of the ball was long gone. And then ball went straight over the goal and right over the fence.

"How many he's missed?" Ted asked.

"Erm..." Robyn mumbled and lifted up each of her fingers as if she was counting, "Fuckin' all of them."
