It had been a couple days since Y/n's confinement. All the weapons have been eaten and any toy or plastic object destroyed. The only thing left in the room was Y/n and plushies.

To put it simply

They were quickly getting bored.

Y/n: Mmmmmmmmmmmm....

They were atleast the size of a small vehicon. However their form was very flimsy and malleable, unable to harden without shrinking down back to roughly the size of a human car.

Y/n: I'm Boreeeeeeeddddddd!

Y/n stretched lazily, their form shifting as they watched the reflection in the glass. The lack of excitement had grown unbearable, and they had been thinking of ways to pass the time. A wicked smirk tugged at their face as an idea formed in their mind.

Y/n: Alright, Soundwave. Let’s make this fun.

They stood up, their body rippling and morphing, taking on a more familiar shape, a very familiar shape. Their form solidified, now resembling Soundwave’s tall, sleek frame, though with a slightly more exaggerated posture and movements. The visor glowed in the same dull hue as his, and their voice modulated into an eerily perfect mimicry of Soundwave’s calm monotone.

Y/n: Containment is necessary. Boredom: irrelevant

They mimicked in a teasing tone, their movements deliberately slow and fluid.

With a smirk, they leaned closer to the glass, tapping a finger against it and giving Soundwave’s likeness a cocky tilt of the head.

Y/n: You like the look? I thought I’d try something a little more… you.

Silence followed for a moment, then the familiar hum from the speakers filled the room. Y/n could almost hear the tension through the static as Soundwave’s voice broke the silence.

Soundwave: Unnecessary. Imitation: ineffective.

Y/n’s smirk widened, clearly enjoying the challenge.

Y/n: Oh, I wouldn’t say that. You’re always so serious, so distant. Thought maybe I’d help loosen things up. You like what you see?

They leaned against the glass, hands resting behind their back as they gave Soundwave’s reflection a more flirtatious gaze, slowly running a finger down the visor of the glass.

The flicker in Soundwave’s visor on the observation screen suggested something, though he didn’t respond immediately. Y/n took this silence as an invitation to keep going.

Y/n: I know you’re always watching me. Don’t think I haven’t noticed. Can’t blame you, though.

They shifted closer to the glass, their tone dropping into a low, playful whisper.

Y/n: I’m very… interesting, after all. Come on, your maybe God wants to hang out with you!

The speakers crackled again, and Soundwave’s voice responded, though this time with a hint of something else hesitation, perhaps?

Soundwave: Maintain... protocol.

Y/n laughed, the sound light and teasing as they leaned back, still keeping Soundwave’s form.

Y/n: Oh, come on, Soundwave. I know you’re all about rules and following orders, but even you have to admit this is a little interesting.

They traced a finger along the glass, eyes locked on the observation screen where Soundwave watched in silence.

Y/n: I’ll bet Megatron doesn’t know just how close you keep an optic on me. What would he think if he knew you were so… protective?

For a brief moment, the light in Soundwave’s visor flickered again. Y/n knew they had hit a nerve, and they reveled in it.
