59: you're pregnant!

it's getting chilly outside again, which is honestly perfect cause i can hide my pregnancy whenever i want to and show my belly whenever i want to, without getting any stares. today i decided to show it.

because it's clauida's birthday party. she usually always has a large gathering with all her friends, every year and i've managed to find excuses for the past two birthdays... of course i celebrated with her later, i just didn't attend her party. billie was definitely going to be there.

this year, it's different. i live here now, i don't have an excuse, plus billie and i have had a handful of conversations...

the birthdays i did attend, i always helped with the decor and got ready with claudia, but i was banned from that this year. i get it i'm carrying a baby in my stomach, i can still function like a normal human being and help though!

hilton is staying here for a few weeks, so she's my drive there. we've grown attached to each other the past few years again, and now that i'm here, she's debating on whether or not she should move in again to her LA property. obviously that's not the only reason... but it's still one of them.

"hey you." i smiled, opening the door for hilton.

"hi mama." she hugged me. "you feelin good? how's the baby?"

"we both are feeling very good." i repiled. "i'm just debating on which jacket to wear, come help me choose."

"your little bump is so cute in that dress!" she giggled, walking behind me.

"i know right!" i squealed. "okay, so. i have this cute mini cardigan, but it's basically only sleeves." i put it on. "or... i have this lacy one that's also cute."

"the lacy one for sure." she widened her eyes. "and you should wear that fur jacket you have on the way, it's cold as hell outside."

"yeah that's what i was planning on doing." i nodded. "i hate that i can't wear any of my cute heels."

"your flats are cute!" she replied.

"not as cute as my black heel." i mentioned.

"scarafices must be made." she shrugged. "ready?"

"yeah, just one second." i grabbed my coat and we both headed out. the car ride was so fun and short, but we made it safely and relatively early. "my birthday girl." i hugged her tightly. "you look stunning."

it wasn't really her birthday today, it was two days ago but her and finneas went on a little trip together and this is the first time im seeing her since then. "thank you, but you look magnificent." she held my hands. "your hair like this is so pretty and the dress..."

"the hair almost gave me a breakdown." i widened my eyes. "i kept trying to slick it back right and it wouldn't listen to me!"

"well it definitely listened in the end." she told me before greeting hilton. finny took my coat upstairs to their room and i ate some grapes randomly. there wasn't anyone here yet, except really close friends, but soon enough people started to show up.

"jules! long time no see!" lexi walked up to me.

"hi! how's it going?" i hugged her. "i know the podcast is doing well!"

we catched up for a while and then another hectic thing happened and we ended the conversation, so i started moving back to the kitchen area and on my way, i ran into drew and zoe. they never fail to make my day a hundred times better, i can never repay them for the kindness they've given me.

"zoe! where's the gift!" billie came up from behind them, not realizing and that they were with me.

"in my car, chill."
