Madi POV

When I arrived at the waterfall a little while later I look around. A swimming hole sat at the bottom of the fall, the water clear and clean. A fallen tree carved into a bench sat facing the water.

My heart sped when I saw a stranger sitting on the bench. When he notices me he stands up to greet me and holds out his hand for me to shake. "Glad you could join me. My name is Trent smith." He spoke softly.

A thousand and one questions pour out of my mouth. "Were you the one who mindlinked me? Who are you? Are you apart of the pack? I didn't see you at the cerimony. What did you mean when you said you know what and who I am?"

"Calm down! One question at a time, would you. Now, lets see. I already told you who I am. I am also apart of Full moon pack, otherwise you would not have heard my message. I left the cerimony early, you see I had a headache and I needed to gather my things for this meeting." He answers all my questions in one breath. I then notice a small folder sitting on the bench next to him.

"What is that?" I nod my head towards the file. He looks down and grabs it, lifting it up to my reach.

"Why dont you find out?" Is all he said. I wearily grabbed the folder. I opened it and a single paper fell out. I bent down to pick the paper up and noticed its old smell and dusty texture. The words are smaller then I'd have liked, but I started reading:

Before our ancestors had gained their werewolf companion, they were greedy. They wanted power and authority. Then one by one they went through the change. After everyone had went through the shift fights broke out trying to determine whether they were more powerful then all the others. Soon after they decided to choose an alpha. He had to strong, and he had to have a luna. When the alpha was picked the fights ceased and people became generous.

As our ancestors first began to relish and accept their werewolf abilities, all was well. Everyone had the same power and nobody could complain. But a decade later a new bread came to town. No one had ever heard of a different kind of werewolves so they were all curious. When the new breeds arrived they seemed normal enough, other then they were all alpha families, so the people shrugged them off and went on doing their own business. When the outsiders asked to join the pack, a decision had to be made. They didn't need more pack members but our ancestors were not mean people anymore. They were nice and kind so they hastily agreed. When the full moon came along, the entire pack went into the woods to shift and howl at the moon. When the outsiders shifted, everyone panicked. They finally got to see the difference. The normal wolves were the normal colors; brown, grey, white, spots, occasional white and Black, and and so on, whereas the different breed, were all midnight black. All would be well except the females were also black, not at all a common color for female wolves. Every wolf had a strange marking. A earthly symbol stood out on each wolf's hind leg. They soon found out that these strange wolves had powers. Nobody could explain it, not even the different breed, saying they were all born this way. Generations and generations of only alpha's, their luna's, and children had the mark and power, and only one person in each family actually harnessed the powers. When their mate marks them is when their powers come into play, and when we questioned and researched those who were marked, we came up with an idea of what each power was for each mark.

I gasp and drop the paper. I start to hyper venilate. Trent looks at me with an unreadable expression on his face. "Are you alright?"

I breath in deeply a few times. "Yeah. I'm ok." I pant.

"Not to rush you or anything, but there is more on the back." He says curtly. Wow. This guy was kind of a douche. I pick up the paper once more and turn it over. A list of 5 marks and powers covered the paper, looking somewhat like this.

Mark: Lilly- not dangerous.
Power- Able to manipulate the growth of all plants to whatever they please; specially stronger around nature.

Mark: Leaf- mildly dangerous.
Power- Able to manipulate trees, branches, and roots; specially stronger in the woods surrounded by trees.

Mark: Sun- dangerous.
Power: able to conjure up a light whenever the sun is out, can move sunlight from one place to another, can burn, even kill if desired; specially stronger on sunny days.

Mark: Bubble- severely dangerous.
Power- can control tides, small bodies of water, and can use as a weapon. Specially stronger near water.

Mark: Lightning bolt- EXTREAMLY DANGEROUS!
Power- is able to control and manipulate all kinds of weather, use weather to harm, especially kill, stronger when near water, sunlight, and specially stronger on rainy, stormy, days. speciallty: Lightning.

After I finished reading it took me 3 seconds to comprehend the writing, 5 seconds to figure out that I was one of these people, 3 more seconds to know that I was the most dangerous one, and finally 1 second for me to fall into darkness...
**********************************
When I awoke the next morning I realized I was still in the woods. the sun was shining bright, but Trent was nowhere to be seen. Douchebag. I sat up and groaned. My back was killing me for sleeping on the ground. I stand up and brush myself off. I put my hands in my pockets and feel the piece of paper.

Madi, try not to loose the information. It could be of importance to you later. Please don't mention our meeting to Blake,Trent links me.

All the facts from last night come crawling back to me. Holy. Shit. If this was all true; then that makes me a different breed of werewolf.

How did you know so much about this? I ask him through the link. After a minute of silence I get a reply.

My best friend Cody has a mark like yours. A sun, to be exact. He can help you harness your powers. Wow. I didn't even think about that. I will have powers! It's a scary thought but I know inside I will be just fine.

Thank you so much Trent.

Don't mention it. Really, don't.

I role my eyes and start back towards Blake's parents house.

When I get there I see Blake standing in the living room looking out the window. When he sees me a million emotions flicker on his face but the one he decides to settle on is anger. I walk in the house not at all afraid and he stomps to me.

"Where in the HELL have you been!" He yells at me. I don't even flinch.

"Where I go isn't your concern. What are you, my mom?" When I tell him this he looks like Helen's explosion all over again.

"WHERE YOU GO IS TO MY CONCERN! I AM THE ALPHA OF THIS PACK AND HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO-" I cut him off mid sentence.

"OH SO NOW YOUR MY ALPHA? I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY MATE! BECAUSE I COULD REALLY USE ONE RIGHT NOW! I yell back, tears pooling in my eyes.

His face softens and grabs my hand. "Madi, I'm sorry, I just was really worried about you. I didn't know if you were taken or if you left and I didn't know what to do. Please forgive me."

"Pulling the alpha card was a really asshole move," I glare at him.

"I know, and I'm sorry. Really I am." Blake says sincerely.

" I forgive you. But under one condition." I smile big.

"Anything." Blake says, oblivious to my change of mood.

"You gotta make me breakfast!" I shout and run towards the kitchen.
