In a small, humble house, (Y/n) busily prepared to create a delightful snack. She knelt by the sink, retrieving a container of disinfecting wipes before pulling out a wet, disposable cloth. With careful precision, she wiped down the surfaces, erasing the traces of dirt, dust, and bacteria that had settled there. Standing on her tiptoes to reach a higher shelf, she pulled several yellowing newspapers from a cabinet. Their pages crinkled with age. She laid them thoughtfully across the counter, layering them just so, ensuring the thin sheets overlapped to catch any non-edible scraps that might emerge during her culinary venture.

As she approached the fridge, the cool air brushed against her face. She gripped the silver handle, pulling it open with a soft click that echoed in the kitchen. Inside, vibrant, fresh fruits gleamed in their containers like tiny jewels waiting to be chosen. Excitedly, she selected some luscious strawberries and ripe bananas, placing them delicately on the polished marble countertop. Next, she reached for a sturdy cutting board, rinsing it under the cool water before positioning it atop the newspapers, ready to transform the vibrant fruits.

Suddenly, a series of soft clicks and cheerful chittering filled the kitchen, signaling the arrival of her trusty companion, the Arachnamech named INK. With its multi-armed form, it scuttled over eagerly, balancing a tray laden with an assorted bounty of other fruits. Among them were clusters of blueberries, their tiny shapes glistening, and two golden pineapples, their spiky exteriors promising sweet, juicy flesh hidden beneath.

With a series of excited clicks, INK offered (Y/n) the choice of various knives, each varying in sharpness and size, urging her to let it assist in crafting this delicious, healthy dessert.

"Hmm..." (Y/n) mused softly, her eyes sparkling with appreciation. Nodding enthusiastically, she added the blueberries and the pineapples to her growing collection of fruits, feeling a closed-eye smile stretch beneath the mask around her mouth, symbolizing her gratitude for INK's helpfulness.

Grabbing a sharp knife with a steady hand, she brought it down to the wooden cutting board, positioning the fruits carefully before her. With each slice, she took the time to wash and prep the fruits, removing the tops from the berries and pineapples with graceful precision. The rhythmic motion of cutting was almost hypnotic; her concentration became an effortless dance.

INK watched with keen interest, its many lenses focused intently on the smooth movements of its companion, the tray now set aside. (Y/n)'s smile widened from slight to a satisfied grin as she embraced the soothing nature of the task. Each cut resonated with a satisfying crunch, a sound that signaled her progress.

Once all the fruits were artfully cut and arranged, she transferred them into a blender, where they swirled together in a riot of color. She pressed the button, and the machine whirred to life, blending the ingredients into a vibrant smoothie. Suddenly, she paused, the realization hitting her like a splash of cold water—she had forgotten to add ice!

Just as she thought of it, INK, ever attentive, was already ahead of her. The Arachnamech emitted a series of staticky hisses, attempting to mimic a human grunt as it hurriedly pulled a container of ice from the fridge's freezer compartment. This extra ice was a precaution; usually, it was stored there for moments when the ice maker needed a defrost, but thankfully, it was still fresh.

Once it returned to her side, INK placed a few ice cubes into the blender along with the remaining fruits, ready to transform the mix into a chilled delight. She pressed the blending button again, watching as the spinning blades executed their task with expert precision, creating a thick, fruity concoction that danced against the sides of the blender.
