A Leap of Faith (Part 3)

Chapter 410 - Steve's Punishment

It is now about 20 minutes later, and Reign and Carly are just arriving at Steve's home, which Carly has been able to direct them to, with Steve still being locked in the trunk of the car, having not made a peep whatsoever, meaning he is likely still unconscious. Thankfully, Steve's car has a key fob inside, which has allowed them to open the gates to Steve's driveway, and drive onto it, while also closing the gates behind them, giving them a perfect amount of privacy for what they have planned. Or, at the very least, what Reign has planned.

"Reign..... what are we doing here....." Carly asks, nervously, "What are we going to do?"

"Well. That is entirely up to you." Reign says, "Steve here, he took away your control, when he abused you. When he raped you. Then when you tried to take it back, and report him, he stopped you from doing it. Him, and his cop father. I though, I am going to give you back your control. I am going to let you do whatever you want to Steve, and I will support you 100%. All you need to do, is make sure that whatever you do let's you get over your fear of this pathetic man, and lets him know you won't allow him to threaten you anymore, and control your life."

"I...... okay....." Carly says, "Does that... mean.... I should kill him?"

"That's entirely up to you, Carly. I would kill him. And he deserves it. From what I heard in that club, you are unlikely the only woman he has abused. He even tried to drug my drink while I pretended to flirt with him. So, killing him would be a pretty fitting punishment in my mind. However, I understand that you might not want to do that, and that's okay. So, we can do something else. You can do something else."

"Okay." Carly nods, and now takes a deep breath, "Can..... can you just..... get him inside.... and tie him to a chair........ I need to think...."

"Okay." Reign nods.

Reign now gets out of the car, with Carly doing the same a few moments later. Reign then proceeds to give Carly the car keys, and tells her to open the front door, and head inside, which Carly does. After this, Reign heads for the trunk of the car, and soon retrieves Steve's still unconscious body, and begins to carry it inside the house. Thankfully, due to the expensive looking house that Steve lives in, there is a lot of privacy, so no nosy neighbours will be able to see what they are doing.

A few minutes later Reign has now successfully moved Steve's unconscious body into the house and tied him to one of his wooden dining room chairs. To do this, Reign couldn't find any rope or anything, but thankfully was able to find a role of duct tape in one of his drawers. Needless to say, Reign really needed to use a lot of duct tape to make sure Steve won't be able to break free when he wakes up. Obviously even if he did, Reign would be able to deal with him. However, Reign doesn't want him breaking free and then scaring Carly, who still is pacing back and forth, talking to herself, clearly considering what she wants to do.

In regards to Steve's house itself, it's about as tacky as one might think after knowing the type of person Steve is. Literally right in the entrance hallway of the house, there is some "artwork" of naked women, breast on display and everything, so pretty crass. Then at the same time, Steve has a bunch of furniture pieces that really don't go together, but obviously individually cost a lot of money each. All in all, Reign is pretty surprised that this Steve guy actually had all these things, including this house, which must be valued over a million dollars, as well as this expensive furniture, and a car that is customised. It really does not make sense for someone who works in a club in Las Vegas to be making enough money to support a lifestyle like this, so clearly something shady is happening here.

"You stay here and think. I'm going to have a look around." Reign says to Carly.

"What if he wakes up?" Carly asks, in a nervous voice, clearly not wanting her ex-boyfriend to wake and then for her to have to face him on her own.
