Chapter 420 - Nyssa's Plan

Kara, Nyssa and Nia now just stand there before the Lazarus pit, which is now empty of water, in silence for several moments. The women just truly realise the weight of this moment, and what this achievement by Nia means. Nia has truly defeated something inherently evil, and it clearly was not an easy feat by Nia, by any means. Nia has literally just destroyed something that was hundreds, or possibly, thousands of years old. It has caused so much hatred, death and destruction, both by the exposure of Ra's Al Ghul, and the exposure of both Talia and Nyssa Al Ghul. Then none of them know who was possibly exposed to this Lazarus pit before Ra's Al Ghul came along, and the death and destruction those people may have caused as the result of it. Now though, no other person will ever be exposed to this pit, and ever kill people as the result of the exposure. The only problem that Kara and Nia are aware of, is from their trip to the other Earth, visiting Kara's friends, it seems very likely that there are other Lazarus pits all over the planet. Nia and Kara hope though that no one knows about those Lazarus pits, especially Talia Al Ghul.

Eventually, after several moments of silence, the three women turn to look towards one another, none of them really sure what should happen now. At the end of the day, for Kara and Nia, they both came to this Lazarus pit with the intention of stopping the earthquakes which were happening, now though, not only have they stopped the earthquakes, but they have also destroyed the Lazarus pit once and for all, achieving so much more than what they aimed to do today.

"So......." Kara now says, being the one to end the silence, "What now?"

"I guess..... we leave?" Nia suggests, in a bit of a confused voice.

"Yes, we should." Kara says, as she turns to look at Nia, "And I imagine Lena is likely going crazy with the signal cutting out, and is probably moments away from sending out a rescue party, so we should really go."

"Hmmm. Yes. But there is something we need to talk about before we get back." Nia says.

"Okay." Kara nods, and now turns to look at Nyssa, "What about you though? What are you going to do?"

Nyssa now grows a perplexed look on her face, clearly surprised by Supergirl asking her this.

"I thought you would.... Not want to let me go....." Nyssa says, "Given my involvement with Leviathan, and everything."

"That's not how we do things." Kara says, "From what you have said, and from what Lillian has already told us, you are not really our enemy, your sister is. The only question I have for you, is are you going to fight us and join your sisters side, or join us?"

Nyssa now grows a thoughtful look on her face, clearly taking in what Supergirl has just said to her.

"My sister needs to be stopped, she cannot be allowed to continue to do what she is doing, but the problem you face, and we all face, is that taking my sister out of the equation is not going to solve anything. My sister has built Leviathan into an absolute monster of an organisation, that has it's hand in almost every corner of the globe, in multiple governments, and many high profile companies, with considerable power. Therefore, all that would truly happen upon Talia being eliminated from control, would mean a power vacuum would be created. Then, from what I know of power vacuums, it is very likely that some other person would come along and fill it. Stopping my sister doesn't suddenly stop Leviathan, Leviathan has too many wheels in motion for that to happen." Nyssa explains.

"Okay....." Kara says, "Then what would you suggest?"

"I don't know." Nyssa replies, "Honestly, I don't care. My responsibility now lays at stopping my sister. Your words were..... nice..... Supergirl...... but everything that Talia has done still lands on me...... I hold some responsibility for all this. I need to stop Talia, everything else afterwards, I don't care about."
