Chapter 2

Nightwing/Dick Grayson pov

Today was the worst day I saw some guys flirt with (y/n) I had gotten so jealous I hit the locker and hurt my hand. I had strong feelings for (y/n) but she never found out I was going to tell her today she was my best friend I don't even know why I was so nervous maybe because I love her no don't think about that last time I loved someone they got hurt I remember that day

(Flash back)
I had gotten home from school and my girlfriend Barbra Gordon/batgirl was waiting for me because we were going on a mission during that time I was robin before I turned to nightwing and met (y/n) I was suiting up when my phone rang I picked up and heard Bruce say come asap to Barbra's apartment. I ran through the rooftops till I reached Barbra's apartment I saw Bruce/batman standing there I walked towards him a tapped his shoulder he quickly turned around "oh it's just you"he said in his deep batman voice"so what did you want to talk about"I asked he just looked at me "dick I don't know how to explain this but Barbra got shot in the back"I just stood there in shock tears forming in my eyes.

End of flashback*
I was still in shock because it happened just a year ago today was the day she got shot but a year ago I was scared that joker would do something to (y/n) because he had said that when I took him to Arkham asylum his words still scare me.

Y/n pov
I saw in the corner of my eye Dick hitting a locker with is fist I had told the boys that were flirting with me to go away but the oldest one touched my butt and I just flipped him over to his back and threatened to never touch me again and he just ran away with his friends I went up to dick and I put my h/c hair behind my ear because it was falling on my face "dick are you ok"I asked he just nodded you went to go patrolling with me I nodded and smiled I loved it when I was nightingale because I could fly and do awesome things but most important thing was that I could spend time with dick who was nightwing the bell rang and I went to my next class
