Sophie's POV

I felt someone shove me.

Hard.

My books spewed out onto the floor along with the contents of my bag.

I scrambled and stuffed it back into my bag before anyone could see it.

"What is wrong with you?"I looked up and saw a guy who looked exactly like Theo.

Crap.

Sandy blonde hair, blue eyes hell no.

"I should be the one asking you that you're yelling at me as if you are mad," Oh it was just Cole but I didn't see him. I saw Theo.

I felt a lump grow in my throat.

Get a hold of yourself, Sophie.

"You freaking idiot! I could lose my stuff because you're clumsy oaf, " I spat out, the rage consuming me.

"I'm clumsy you're the crazy person hitting people," Cole retorted.

"Shut up the frick up and leave me alone you rat," I said my voice shaking in rage.

He walked away and left me to clean up the mess.

"Let me help," Zach said.

I didn't stop him and he joined me on the floor to clean up.

His hand lightly brushed against mine and I felt my face heat up.

Gosh, Sophie concentrate.

"Thank you," I mumbled quickly not facing him not knowing if I looked flushed or not.

I scurried into the girls' bathroom to look in the mirror and I looked extremely flushed.

Gosh, what is happening?

Nichole walked into the washroom.

"Woah, who's the lucky guy?"

Crap, she read right through me.

"I just ended a relationship I'm not ready to start a new one," I retorted.

"Why are you flushed then?" She asked.

"I almost walked into the boys' locker room," I lied.

"Gross"

"Leave me alone, Nichole," I said.

"Why are you acting so crabby lately?" Nichole asked.

"I am not," I said my voice raising.

"Calm down, Sophie, honestly," Nichole said.

"I don't want to fight without you right now," I shoved past her and left the bathroom.

Dorothy's POV

Sophie and I were arguing over whether a hot dog was a sandwich or not.

Clearly, I was winning.

"A sandwich is two slices of bread with filling inside and what do hot dogs have two pieces of bread with a sausage inside," I retorted.

I heard Dad chuckle

"What?" Sophie asked.

"You two still argue over the dumbest things," Mom said she and Dad sat down.

"Sophie, we would like to talk to you," Dad said.

This is my time to pretend to leave but find a good place to eavesdrop.

"That's my queue to leave," I said.

I hid behind the corridor wall just next to the living room.

"Soph, we noticed... well I noticed," Mom started.
