Dorothy's POV

I decided to wake up my sister in the nicest way possible way by slapping her awake.

Apparently, she was sleeping in class and if she wants to keep that perfect GPA she needs to stay awake.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" she mumbled.

"You were sleeping in class," I retorted.

"That doesn't mean you should slap me," She put her head back on the table.

"I'll come in a minute I'm just trying to process the fact that I'm going to have a headache later," Her voice slurred with annoyance.

"You're just being dramatic," I said under my breath.

Sophie's POV

After throwing my stuff into my bag I stood up and went to the teachers' lounge.

I walked to Mrs Brown and asked, "I was wondering if you had seen Mrs Hash around I saw her in the parking lot the other day and I was wondering if I could speak to her."

"She retired years ago. She was here yesterday to speak to the principal. However I could give you her address but if anyone asks you didn't get it from she likes to keep to herself," Mrs Brown explained.

"Got it lips sealed. No snitching I just really need the address it's important," I said my voice filled with urgency.

"Why is it important to meet her so badly? " Mrs Brown shot me this devious look.

Should I tell her that Mrs Hash could be the person who kidnapped Naylene or should I come up with another plan?

"I want to ask her if she thinks that keeping older teachers is beneficial to enhance students' learning experiences," I said trying to convince her to give me Mrs Hash's address already.

It wasn't like I was going to smuggle Mrs Hash off or anything like that no I'm not a psychopath or a kidnapper.

"Hmm, you're something else Sophie Gordon," Mrs Brown picked up a yellow sticky note and started to scribble the address down.

Finally.

"That's her address. Go before 8 am or else she won't open up and call the police a burglar is at her door," A sly grin was smudged across Mrs Brown's face.

"Thank you," I said as I stuffed the sticky note in my back pocket and proceeded to leave the teacher's lounge.

"Hey, Soph got a minute?" I turned around and my gaze fell on Zach.

No, I don't but my mind was racing with so many questions to ask him.

Like why was he so scared to answer my question and why he just got up and left me on that bench like that?

"Sure what's the problem?" I asked.

That was not what I wanted to say I wanted to bombard him with questions.

"I'm sorry about yesterday I just have nothing to do with that Roy guy and I was just thinking of the best way to answer you without hurting your feelings," He explained.

Once he said the word 'feelings' I felt my pulse rate sped up.

"Don't worry seriously don't," I told him.

"Let me walk you to your car at least that can be an extension of my apology," He said.

I chuckled and when I got to my car. Zach leaned against it and started scrolling through his phone.

I tossed my backpack into my car's passenger seat and moved it to the back seat along with lip gloss and my blanket since Dorothy and I were going to Miss Hash.

I checked my back pocket and the sticky note was missing.

"Zach have you seen a yellow stick note fall out of my back pocket," I asked him frantically.

He put his phone in his back pocket.

"No, "

"Crap, crap, crap," I said.

"Chill we can retrace our steps and find it," Zach held my hand trying to comfort me.

"No, but," I huffed and slumped down into my driver's seat.

Zach started laughing but he tried to cover it up.

"What's so funny," I said my voice stained with a hint of annoyance.

"Look in your other pocket," I put my hand and brought out the sticky note.

Zach started full-on howling.

"It's not funny Zach shut up," I said.

"It is Soph," Zachh said.

Dorothy entered my car.

"See you tomorrow," He cackled.

"Shut up," I mumbled.

Dorothy's POV

"So would you like coffee," Miss Hash asked.

"No, no, " Sophie scrambled to say.

She hasn't drank coffee since Mr Brian and Theo put Xz in it.

"No we're good," I said.

"Mrs Hash we wanted to ask you why you were laughing about Naylene's disappearance that's highly unethical," Sophie said.

"Oh no, I want Naylene back in fact when she was one of my star students. She was great. I was devastated to see her go missing," She sat down in an armchair.

"I was worried they may never find her again and how to them years to find David Gordon," Mrs Hash's face flashed with fear and concern.

"So what do you think about her personality," I asked.

"She's a very kind and generous person. She used to help a lot financially when she got a job," Mrs Hash continued, "It's a shame that they can't find her it's disappointing, to be honest," She said.

"Thank you for and sorry for this little misunderstanding," I said.

"Aah don't worry dears," She got up and held the door open for us.

"Well this is what we get for accusing a grandma of kidnapping a 22-year-old," I threw my hands up in the year.

"Just shut up and drive," Sophie mumbled her voice paved with annoyance.

"Why? You hate it when I drive your car," I asked in shock.

"I'm tired and I have a headache and just want to take a nap, gosh," She slid into the passenger's seat.

"You weren't tired when you were talking to Zach though," I said trying to push her buttons.

"Keep Zach out of this," She commanded.

"Overprotective much," I said under my breath.
